I think the rules are that if the enemy reaches the screen border the hero loses by default.... which is pretty logical considering that in the game you need to stop the enemy from advancing

Nah ingvar is a busted blocker. You just gotta move him back so he can heal once he summons his ancestors. Rinse and repeat for like 20 minutes then he'll kill the slayer 😂

I think out of everyone in this fight, Thor is the only hero that is RNG based if whether or not they could actually win this fight. cause from the looks of it, if Mjolnir had procced more often, he would have dealt enough damage to win the fight. However because of its low chance to activate, the fight would have gone either way depending on your luck. this is not the same case for Gerald. Because while Shield of Retribution *does* also activate based on RNG, its chances are much more higher compared to Mjolnir that he's a lot easier to guarantee winning than Thor.

@@tacogodboomdogg no not really. Compared to Thor, Oni is actually able to deal consistently high true damage to the dark slayer with death strike due to it being cooldown based. So even if its instant kill didn't proc, he'd most likely still have been able to win even without the instant kill.

It's quite obvious with enough retreating the ranged units will live and kill the enemy eventually, this is true with the melee heros too

I think the idea was that they needed to defeat them in this small space of path. Which does get into the oddly specific requirements of "can x beat", but in this case it's a bit more reasonable since taking the entire path length to defeat an enemy isn't exactly indicative of a strong hero. In this short path length, getting them in melee combat is important since rather than dealing greater damage while the enemy moves forwards, they do low damage while the enemy doesn't move at all, which is marginally better than the alternative.

I mean Oni, execution strike have 20-30% to oneshot any unit that not heroes, and will deal 300-450 true damage no matter the armor, he pretty good in general use tbh, and hold his own well against everything
