I have had a fond memories of this game with my father back in 96 where in his leisure time i would spend a day playing and trying to beat this game. Now my dad's in heaven. Whenever I watched this game someone playing it makes me miss my dad so much. Thankyou for the memories.

not all, I played this game on 96 until 2003, I still remember some hidden items, I am sure on the stage (where many blue disks) you still can get 1 more weapon.

there is still one secret that hasn't been revealed: the ultra-speed chain hook. it's a technique attack btw, lightning damages 8 lifepoints to players but 7 to enemies

This now might sound funny, but I never knew you can do that lightning attack. I can only assume you hold the button and "charge it up" or something, I played this game back in the day(and beat it) but never knew that attack, lol.

In Canada it's just called "Shadow of the Ninja". Where was it released as "Kage - Shadow of the Ninja" ? Male Ninja was also purple and not so pink

Most Western countries had the name localized to Shadow of the Ninja. Kage ( pronounced Kaa-Gay) is a Japanese word which literally means Shadow. In India, most of us got the Japanese ROM.

I can barely remember myself from when i played this 15 years ago. However i will like to suggest this: try to press left and right button repeatedly while continuously pressing attack button. If it is difficult, let your character sit down and do what i suggest earlier. You may need your character to be full health at best or more than half of it. And one more thing, while doing this your character need not be interrupted with enemy attacks or it will not work

Is the hidden special attack the player can do by pressing attack button for 3 o 5 seconds maybe, but it cost to the player the 50% of the health bar, so you need to have more of the half to make the lightning
