I seem to catch bigger bass about 3 in a trip 2 to 3lbs when I was just starting out it was 1 and 2 all the time. Just bought a 7”6 heavy glass rod to throw 20 plus foot diving cranks can’t wait to try my hand at the Strike king 10Xds

I love that section of river. The biggest fish I’ve caught through there have been around 2lbs. Sadly one day at Coon Bluffs I saw someone take a 5lber out on a stringer, kind of heart breaking. That first rapid you went through at the Verde confluence can be super sketchy at higher flows. Glad you made it through safely. That looks like a fun boat to take down! Awesome videos 👍

When I was on high school the fish were definitely bigger. Everytime I go out there it's a dink fest, but I'm cool with that. It's more about the scenery there. It's absolutely beautiful out there.
