Happened to watch this series the night after stage 1 of the Games closed, and I've always been a big fan of Brent and Pat; but after seeing this, I'm a far bigger fan. I hope they don't let today's results cloud how important an impact their presence and voices have on the sport, and in turn, on society. I'm proud as hell of the work they've done, as shown here and on the field of play.

Politics......it’ll fuck you every time. I hope CrossFit doesn’t “Get Woke, Go Broke.” As for an athlete’s union/association, good luck because those only work with contract employees/athletes. CrossFit is an “Open” sport not a contract one. All that aside, this series was great! The writing and production was really good. Subbed and wanting more!!

Has anyone considered... Yes Crossfit was one man calling the shots. He made big mistakes, he's out. But, Facebook is also controlled by one man.... hmmm.
@banffboss1224 жыл бұрын
The two companies operate in different fields, they make money in a different way, they are organised in a different way. For example, facebook is a publicly traded company, while CF as a brand is owned by a single person.
@jasonmurray47144 жыл бұрын
@@banffboss122 Yes, one makes money by trying to help people, improve their health and challenge things like the soda industry. The other sells ads to all comers that target your outrage and negative emotions, with manipulative addictive algorithms. Zuck controls 60% of all this "publicly" traded company. His vote is the only on that really matters. When Glassman had to go, he had to divest himself of his ownership, not just step away. Glassman was small enough to be cancelled. Zuck isn't. Ironically it's the same social media platforms that helped get Glassman cancelled.
@banffboss1224 жыл бұрын
@@jasonmurray4714 Yeah, I totally agree and I think you are also proving my point. Just because it is "one man" doesn't mean the same can happen in another company that easily. I also think Glassman made some really bad calls that lead to him losing his business. I think the term "cancelled" doesn't fit to what happened. He lost affiliates because they didn't want to stick with him. If he wouldn't have decidided to sell, he could have just kept "Crossfit" as a brand. But selling it after his bad decisions was the next best business decision. I think he is walking away with a lot of money while CF and the CF industry will keep existing.
@jasonmurray47144 жыл бұрын
BanffBoss122 In that case... precisely what is your point I’m helping you make? There seem to be a number of things you might be trying to say.
@banffboss1224 жыл бұрын
@@jasonmurray4714 I just noticed that I didn't state my point previously: "Even tough companies can be run by a single person, there are a lot of additional things to be considered when you think about the consequences of their actions." GG makes mistakes as a decision maker = loses his company, MZ makes mistakes as a decision maker = nothing really happens.
@fionah7874 жыл бұрын
its weird as that greg makes a mess and yous all turn on crossfit like they did the mess when it was glassman.. crossfit is amazing and is so good for people in general.. it made yous who yous are today. crossfit will always be great even if yous act like crossfit is bad because of what glassman done...
