Thanks for the video. Really helpful. I'm purchasing this one. But the only thing that is not 100% clear on the manufacturer's website is can a carpet cleaner be used. It says "no foam detergent" , but still not clear how to really clean a carpet. Should we just use water? or spray non-foam detergent on the carpet, or place it in the clean water tank of the device? Thanks for your help.

Hello, I'm glad you enjoyed the video! You asked a really good question, and my guess is that this vacuum doesn't create a full suction so it might be difficult to lift all of the detergent out of the carpet. I have a Hoover carpet cleaner too, and that really suctions to the rug or carpet that I'm cleaning, so I'm confident it gets out all of the detergent. With that said, I have tried more than just water in the clean water tank on tile and hardwoods, and it picked it up pretty well. Maybe just test it on those kind of surfaces first, and if you're happy with how it cleans up the detergent, then try it on a carpet. Good luck!
