What I wanted to say is that the aquariums he makes are very well appreciated and we want to stare at those for hours :) . That mailman wanted to enjoy them as well (hopefully, he got the address of MD's channel, at least). It is a good thing that we can see them online, but is not a virtual 3D space, where you can navigate freely, so, a periodic update is more than welcomed.

Hi 👋 MD! Hi Matt! When you first added the red plants to the center of stone ( volcano ) , it looked like molten lava!!! ❤❤❤ I absolutely loved the way this turned out! My only complaint is, not enough video of the finished product ie. fish swimming and interacting with the environment you created. The reason for many people to get into the fish keeping hobby is to the serenity it brings to our mind when you just sit and watch the fish… your mind can go blank…. You can forget the troubles of the day and just mentally swim with your fish! Even though it turned out beautifully, this build felt rushed, like something you had to do and wanted to be done with it. It is a lovely, lovely tank and I hope to see more of it in the future! I think I speak for many followers when I say we’re here for the Brilliant talent you have for aquascaping FISH tanks. You teaching us how to achieve similar results for our FISH tanks. I have just that type of tank. It takes more space than a regular tank, but the light is great and I guess it has a modern look. I did remove the internal filter part and put in a smaller one because the filter part took away lots of space and a nightmare to clean. I will recomend this tank though. Light was broken one day and you can't realy remove it but superfish did a free repair as part of guarantee. Truly a good budget friendly tank, and you will enjoy the quality

I have the exact one. I scaped it 8 months ago. I did remove the internal filter cover as it gives more room and the lights werent powerful enough for me so I added a light myself. Looks great now.

I know this isn't really your style, M.D., but it is REALLY WELL DONE. This shows EVERYONE how they too can have a beautiful planted aquarium in their home. I wish I could get this kit in the US. Its a really nice kit. I'm not a fan of the Fluval kit tanks, and the best we have is Aqueon kits. i have 2 of those. They are affordable and hardy. But I do really like this one. Fantastic job! (p.s. I do love purple harlequin rasboras and would love to see something with them. ☺ )

I have one of these 'kit' aquariums: the same one, actually. Overall... I'm pleased with it. Only two gripes: Minor gripe... The space behind the filter/heater housing is a bit of a waste - you can't do much with it in terms of planting or 'scaping (You can't see whatever you pop behind there anyway)... I tuck a good surface skimmer behind it at the surface and an additional internal filter (packed with bio-media) below that skimmer... That really boosts filtration and flow. Major gripe: a little over a year in... the LEDs in the light unit started to fade... or fail completely... Really not good: the tank began to look quite dim. No warranty replacement was forthcoming from Maidenhead Aq. So I had to buy a different light bar and rest it on the cover-glass. (I have noticed the subsequent examples of the same aquarium do have a completely different LED setup built in...) Possible design improvement? A couple of struts to allow you to prop the lights up at about 45ﾟ- because if I folded the light unit all the way back for access... then there was no light in the tank to see what I was doing... Folding up a towel and wedging it in to hold the lights back at the angle I wanted was the quick fix. Summary: If the lighting on the newer models is more robust and reliable, I would recommend these 100%.

I have the Superfish Home 65 (60L) They are fantastic kits but my only gripe is the Filter/Heater box that is Siliconed to the glass - it does a great job of hiding the equipment but come Maintenance time, you have to take off the side panel, un-route the filter power cable so you can free up enough cable to lift it out of the box then you can unclip the media compartments for cleaning, then pop it back in the box, re-do your cable tidying & replace the side panel 🤔🤔 Whereas if the Equipment box is removed, your filter & Heater go in the same place using the cable tidy for their power cables - Maintenance is so much more simple, just pop your hand in & unclip the filter media compartment off of the pump (which stays suckered to the glass) and click it back on once your done cleaning - no taking off the side panel or messing with the filter power cable - I removed my Equipment box with a long sharp craft knife - I Like the idea of hiding the equipment, but it needs a better solution 👍👍 also there is a gap behind that box that snails & small fish could get up into - get stuck, rot = Ammonia 😱😱

This is a tank I'd be looking at- I have naughty cats and need a covered tank. Americans would go for this kit, that's just an opinion, as a beginner/intermediate level kit, everything you need in one go. I find it a very attractive tank and wish they had an American line, sigh. I like the depth and width, I really don't like the rectangular tanks that are everywhere in big chain stores. I have a kit set up, 29 gallon breeder tank I'm getting together soon, really wish I had the tank in this video lol.
