All in the April Evening

The York College Concert Choir sings the hymn "All in the April Evening," written in 1911 by Hugh S. Robertson. For many years, this was the signature song for the concert choir. It will be performed during the 2014-2015 school year as a nod to the college's 125 year history celebration, in recognition of the importance of choral arts since 1890.

A wonderful rendition.Everybody looks the part.The heavens will be rejoicing.My twin sister and I along with 396 more [best in show] Secondary Modern School pupils chosen from South Yorkshire sang this at Leeds Town Hall.1960.My faith is renewed when I hear this song.

Sung at a lower pitch than in my edition. There are some modulations that are very tricky to sing in tune! During the corona virus lockdown I am looking at part songs in my collection to sing along with.

Not so much "LITTUL" and more definite on "THe " also gets a bits lost on tempo, then tuning .
