the animations are underrated because there canceled out by the massive amounts of visual errors they cause even in the "final update". skeletron/exo death animations is cool and all but when im sitting there staring at 2 fricken jawbones it kinda neutralizes it, with the exeption of DOGs death (primarily cause its base calamity.) every infernum awesome animation also has 1 or 2 not so awesome problems with it.

Those cutscenes only activate once per world so if it has already activated, you need to go to new world to see them again

Probably because she was in a weakened state so DoG took the opportunity to finish the job. The player was clearly not in a weakened state so he didn't want to try fighting. Also, the lore isn't the main focus of the game so who tf cares.

Draedon stopped working under Yharim’s command before we even started playing as the Terrarian, and it’s possible that even if he had, and also even if he had decided to let Yharim know about the Terrarian, there’s no guarantee that Yharim would bother mentioning us to DoG. There’s also the fact that DoG’s alliance with Yharim is more of a matter of aligned interests than anything resembling loyalty, so it’s not like DoG really had any need to go after us. Also there’s the fact that this is a fan addon to the mod and isn’t canon so
