I'm used to the fight and it still is ass. Not used to it like the no hitter in the video but used to it to the point where I can maybe beat it after like fiftyish attempts. I know all the moves and how to avoid them but when the time comes I normally get screwed over by the very small window where you can't dash again, or he just flies out of the map never to be seen again and I have to either log out or butcher him with something like Cheat Sheet. Or he just rams me with his massive ass forehead and instakills me because that sure is a fun mechanic 👍

@@unoriginal2552 so don't mess up? With a glass cannon build I can survive a head and body combo. You have around half a second to get back in it. Iframes exist. The timings are purely just from practice, and are around a half second window as far as I can tell. Dog is really just a endurance fight over 2 minutes if how much you can remain consistent and not get your rhythm broken. Yes DoG is one of the hardest bosses in the mod, yes many people may not find it fun, but it is in no way poorly designed

This boss is really one of my favorites, few bosses make you synchronize with him to such an extent that it feels epic, especially when the boss himself mocks your attempts or tries to prevent you from defeating him.

Really all you need for this boss is patience. It just takes learning the attacks and it's mechanics, because the game made it so one way or another no attacks are unpredictable, even if he switches up on your randomly on one of the dodges. It took me 15 attempts with a summoner build, so just make sure you have the best equipment

@@MyraTerrariaOfficial I was using Shield of the High Ruler, as well as either Elysian Aegis or Asgard's Valor. I figured out, that I simply needed to put the Shield of the High Ruler at a higher spot in my accessories, to make it prioritize Asgard's Valor instead of Shield of the High Ruler.... Now it works perfectly. Thanks for responding! :)

I think I got how you avoid him try to coil up by faint him a little to his body before moving out. Quite a feat for quick to panic like me ; w ; But it still wonder how you can ram through his body without get hit.... my timing never have enough I-frame with horizontal charge, even when almost too late for headshot (vertical is fine...).

Infernum mod creates a new Infernum difficulty gives extra effects and reworks the boss fight, it might be because your only playing normal Calamity

Hi may i ask a question :) What kind of pc is that i would like to know or you can suggest me a pc that is cheap and affordable so that i can happily use all sort of settings in terraria with having a 60 or good fps and a smooth gameplay :). im kinda looking for a pc or laptop that can handle all sorts of things like background, high quality, and e.t.c in terraria's settings. I was having fun playing terraria but the lag, fps and bad quality without backgrounds or what so ever to satisfy my gameplay it all just ruined my play. I got all terraria's settings turned off to avoid fps drop like turning off the back ground, setting my quality to the lowest point and turning off everything else. But still nothing changes just a slight fps improvement like 30-40 but sometimes 50 fps but not always. I will appreciate everyone's suggestion and responds :) It will also inspire me to do more things with a fast pc or laptop :) it will be a life changer for me
