Floffi yea I found the fix, you have to restore the iPad because it still works it’s just a hardware problem you need iTunes on your pc in order to restore the iPad once you download iTunes you have to plug your iPad into the pc then you have to restore your ipad

Same thing happened to my iPad a few years ago and now here I am ,same problem. Interesting when I first power on while it’s plugged in the battery says 100%. Within a fraction of a second it jumps down to 32 or 29. I cannot get it to charge higher than 30%. These batteries must just wear out. I use my iPad all day and I’m getting approximately three years out of them… Being that mine does charge I’m still gonna try cleaning it…Thanks for the advice

They checked the battery and its capability was only 20 something percent.. so I asked them to buy a new battery and apparently they don’t do that😑. You have to buy a new iPad… However, I had a great salesman who hooked me up … he said add insurance onto this iPad now. I did not have the extended iinsurance and apparently you can add it to your plan at any time… so I added the insurance. I went home with my iPad . Came back a week later .. I got a new iPad. However the insurance replaces the iPad but there is a “deductible” I had to pay $99. So I’ve had this one about eight months, and so far so good … however, they are on a time clock… like I said three years if you use it daily like I do. Good luck

Nope...just...no. A brick capable of Fast Charging provides zero benefit to a device that does not support it. The accepted amperage is regulated by the device, not the charger. For example, an iPhone 6 accepts a maximum of 1.6A. Therefore, a 2.4A charger will not charge the phone any faster than a 2.1A charger.

In case this helps anyone... if your iPad is down to 1%/zero and keeps showing the battery icon to Apple logo, try to get it powered off. Then it will charge past 1%. Otherwise it gets stuck trying to reboot over and over. Not a fix for everyone but hopefully will help someone.

iPad Pro 12.9 which i have a problem where the USBC brick won’t charge it. Or any other brick. But.. my portable charger does sometimes. Could be a battery problem for me. Sometimes i plug it in, it charges for a few seconds, then stops charging. Only my portable charger can charge it.

It’s not my cable , it is not my USB-C Wall adapter. Because my Wall adapter charges my iPhone just fine. Cable is fine too. ANY USB-C cable is the same thing, won’t charge iPad. Only two things that could be wrong, that is 1... the Inside of iPad USBc power port or 2... the battery itself. Since my portable charger can charge the iPad just fine after powering on and off the charger a couple times, most likely it is a battery problem. 🥺

**WARNING** **CLEAN CHARGING PORT BEFORE DOING THIS** **AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE TO SHUTDOWN YOUR DEVICE** I found out, If your charger isn’t making any contact (charging or cutting in and out) Try putting 3 rubber bands on it (the thick part of the charger **white apple brand** and if you have a case that has corners that stick out (so you can apply tension on the 3 rubber bands) I have started doing this method and it works really well! **Quick Tip** If this method is working then stops working or isn’t working in general, Just add more rubber bands. 3 rubber bands has stopped working but I have added 5 instead **I have not added 3 + 5, I have just added 3 + 2 instead. It is safe to use canned air as long as you allow time for any moisture to evaporate. It is done on electronics routinely. Canned air is cold if freezes even) and evaporates faster than breath which is naturally humid.

Before you try any of this try getting a new charger seems like every four or five months I have to get a new charger and then it seems to work it might just be me I'm not sure but it seems like the lighting cables don't last as long,, the USB C ones last longer seems and they usually charge more for the lightning cable than the usb c which makes no sense because the lightning cables don't seem to last as long

I would not choose to buy or own any Apple product because they are overrated, over-priced but poorly manufactured cheap rubbish. However, my employer uses them and yes they are afflicted by the same problem as depicted here. Any responsible manufacturer would recall and fix this fundamental problem but not Apple. At the very least they should advise users how to get their expensive but useless, 'tech ornaments', to take charge from a mains A/C supply (UK). Utterly disgusting. Thank you for a video which considers the possibilities and their rectification methods...

Make sure every thing is ok maybe that’s the problem if it’s ok You can try to lower or maybe turn the brightness to 0% and if possible turn on airplane mode
