I love how your videos are more informative BECAUSE they are exaggerated and made to be comical. It makes the reality feel normal and approachable if people travel to Japan, because people have been informed in a humorous way. My sister lived in Japan for five years, and when I visited, it was nice to be able to make a good impression without feeling awkward, since I had someone to inform me. Being that person for all your viewers will hopefully improve people's own experiences, and encourage them to explore Japan for themselves without worrying about being cringe.

sora, as a non-japanese person, i'd find your content extremely educational :D because you're teaching an audience in a really goofy/cringy yet entertaining and funny way !! and honestly although you say that it isn't educational because you say really weird stuff, i'd call it "edutainment". it's very nice to watch these kinds of "YOU IDIOT !" videos because they cover misconceptions and give fun facts and advice abt japan while making them funny and entertaining in the process of watching. although u find ur videos cringe, you've found the right audience who enjoys and laughs watching your content because its unironically funny, and im a part of that audience :)))) just wanted to say that ^^

Having just discovered this channel, I've been binge watching Sora's videos. Entertaining and educational, a great combination. Btw, it's interesting to read the comments on channels that show Japanese commercials. Many folks just assume that all Japanese commercials are the weird, creative ones that they see online. From my understanding, the majority are typical commercials similar to what gets shown in most countries. To me that makes the really great ones that more special. When something becomes the norm, it becomes less interesting and entertaining.

Here in Denmark, I've also experienced that little girls enter the men's locker room, especially at swimming pools. It actually happens for both boys and girls, whenever their same-sex parent isn't present, because then the child would have to join the opposite-sex parent when they get changed. I think it's easiest to just act like the child isn't there. However, I have experienced that there was an older girl, probably around 7-9 years old. She seemed much more aware, and kept staring at me... now THAT was awkward. So I think it should only be acceptable if the kid is preschool age.
@niwa_s

Well, would you send a 7-9 year old girl into the women's locker room by herself? Mature 9 year olds I could maybe see, but that's still pretty damn young. Tricky situation for all involved. I'm sure the parent in question doesn't feel super comfortable with it either.

Man Britain is just weird about changing rooms and toilets

From a different mindset, in Spain, if a person is laying unconscious in the street people go and try to help. They will ask you if you are ok, if you need help to go home o if you need them to call an ambulance to go to the free hospitals and medical centers we have. I have fallen in the street and hurt myself a lot of times and people come quickly to see if you are ok. One time I tripped over and hurted myself in the head, I was bleeding (I wasn't drunk and it was in the afternoon, I'm just clumsy). 4 or 5 people came fast, trying to help me, a boy was calling an ambulance and a girl even stayes with me all the time holding my hand and saying it will be ok. A guy from a hotel nearby brought me water. This is usual in Spain, people cares, and this really makes me feel safe. I will be sad and scared if I'm laying on the street and people pass by me ignoring or not caring.

When I stayed in a capsule hotel at Hiroshima for a few days, leaving the hotel at around 8am, there were zombies on the floor EVERY morning in the street! (It was clearly a nightlife neighboorhood with bars, soap lands and so on) It's strange at first, but you get use to it, and it's indeed a sign of Japan's safety. The love hotel sounds like a great concept. I would imagine it's a great option for a group of friends that wants to hang out and maybe watch a series or movie, play a board game, just chat, etc. Even if nobody has enough space available at home, or if they don't want to bother the other occupants of the home, they can still have the privacy and comfort you don't get at a public venue such as a bar.

HOLY MOLY Im so happy I never encountered a little girl in a onsen yet. Thats too awkward! I you think drunk people are funny, I recommend taking a Shuden (last train) on a friday night. There you have people fighting to stay awake, dropping their phones over and over (highest counter was 14 phones dropped), puking, getting up at (seems like) any station and instantly vomiting as soon as they exit the train, sleeping on 3 seats, sleeping on the floor, sleeping in front of the door...or just recklessy talking loud over stuff which should be kept private. You can encounter that on any shuden, but the rate is especially high on friday.
