Mandalorian jet pack won’t let them to be able to perform tf2 movement which are affected by the way they are designed and positioned.

Probably control systems and the skill / training involved in using one and not killing yourself. Every jetpack user shown has been in full armored suits either trooper or mando, the sherrif guy being the only example of a not highly trained chap using one and he was not exactly the best example of good mid term survival prospects with its use.

@@Queen-dl5ju That assumes you have controls for them in a manageable way. Stuff like that would have control sticks protruding. Mandos can do it without them so I can assume that it takes a lot of training (Mando had training prior to getting his own unit). That and it's a pretty bad idea if the pack isn't Beskar coated. Boba's is probably an old model with limited repair so the odd impact can set it off, but the one Din used looks like a nicer model.

Repulsorlift technology. The tech would be housed in the main unit and coordinate it to stabilize. The jets are largely to produce thrust for propulsion, not stability.

I think it comes down to a gimbal and a twr of the jetpack. I am not an expert, but just look at how the Space shuttle was launched, and from that we can see, that the wings wouldn't provide enough lift for the craft to be stable. When the 2 boosters separated from the shuttle, only the main craft and the fuel tank underneath stayed. The shuttle was speeding up using its 3 engines that were blasting of on a curve, so that the whole craft would get desired trajectory. I think its the same with this Jetpack, even with them flying horizontally, you can still ser they are not leveled with the horizon, but offset a little bit. I think thats the reason behind this.
