It's blue for me always. I read all of Lucy Maud's books years ago and also a biography of her life. I love the Anne of Green Gables books since I believe she wrote all the love and friendship into Anne's life that was missing in hers. The Anne yarns and patterns are so charming. I love all things Lucy Maud Montgomery and have recently re-read the Anne series and read a bunch of her other books for the first time. I have a little Knick knack that says “Fall is My Favorite Color” but if I have to narrow it down I would say purple is my one favorite color. Thanks for keeping me company while I cooked meatloaf and mashed potatoes and green beans.

The socks dilemma.. I'm thinking since the friend won't wear them, leave out the gorgeous contrast color. Add a neutral contrast color if you need it to make the project more fun to knit. And make yourself that pretty pistachio and brown combo! I like that a lot.
