I'm glad you talk about cross stitch from time to time. I got diagnosed with thumb arthritis at the end of 2024 and my doctor wants me to take 3 months off from knitting! So I picked up some of my cross stitch I haven't worked on in forever and I'm really enjoying it so much!

I spent most of the last part of fall finishing up WIPs! Dang. I only have two left. I cast something on 1/1, it is a WIP as I watch this so can I count it? Fun episode. I enjoyed your Vlogmas too.

Happy New Years! Love both of your Make 9 choices.... It has inspired me to make a list of Make 9... I usually just decide what to cast on next when I am either finishing a project or if I see something I want to cast on.... Loved watching your Vlogmas as well!!!

Love that you both have lots of excellent plans for the new year. I don’t other than to finish a cross stitch throw that has been wanting to be worked on for probably 20 years. Knitting is the pull first but I need to try harder this year to get it finished. I have plans for two sweater patterns that will be released in January, one by Rebecca Clow and the other I can’t remember. It’s available now but not as a single pattern. Love that you think it’s a good idea to knit from patterns you already have. They are sooooo expensive now. Not buying any until it is sure to be made. Was a great podcast, thank you.

Yes! This year I am definitely making plans to knit patterns that I have already purchased. I am sure that there will be a few that I purchase, as well. There are always a few gorgeous new patterns that make me want to have them. Oh, I hope you make great progress on your cross stitch throw! 😊

😊🧡 I try to keep our Christmas tree up as long as I can. It makes me so happy. But that is true how little kids are tempted to play with the ornaments and that is stressful!

Pretty sure I have 14 active WIPs and a few long term blankets. I want to finish some of my sweater knits in the next few months.
