As someone who has izanagi, gaia, and lumina, they are all extremely useful in their own rights. I feel like inanagi is by far and away the best, but I oftentimes find myself using better alternatives to gaia often. I feel like she is outclassed by both sirius and amataresu, so finding a use case for her is very difficult, but she is still an amazing anti traited killer. Lumina has lowkey been carrying me through cotc, but that's about all of the usage she's seen from me.

Definitely some hot takes in this one, lol. Overall, I disagree with like, 4 of your placements, but I still enjoyed the video and your justifications for placing them where you did were reasonable. In the end, a lot of this comes down to personal preference and experience, and your experience is different than mine, so nice list.

I have lots of problems with this ranking. First of all, this list isn’t endgame standards, where Gaia should be in the middle and Emperor should be at the bottom. They look good on paper, but once in UL their value drops exponentially. They both are very unreliable and you will always have better and more reliable options to use. The other thing is that Musashi, Lumina and Nanaho are too low. I put Nanaho at #2, Lumina at #4, and Musashi at #7. These three have one thing in common and that is they all delete their targeted traits. Nanaho at #2 because of her generalist abilities and that her targeted trait is metal. Which is often seen in all parts of game and very annoying, so having a unit that make metal’s trouble near non existent is extremely valuable. With all things said people are allowed to have different opinions, and I very much appreciate your efforts put in the vid, keep it up👍🏻

As someone who has every legend rare aside from the collab ones and musashi and babel while also being in ZL, pretty much entirely agree here. Specialist legend rares are leagues above the generalist ones aside from exactly Izanagi. With that being said legends like lumi just don’t really work super well in mixed stages so I honestly do prefer professor abyss. Nukers all day every day.

Honestly I agree with a lot of thing here, solid tierlist imo BUT Tyrant His debuff is pretty unreliable if you are going for a specific strategy it is jack of all trades. He is really great support for a general lineup if you are playing stages blindly for some reason lmao but there is always a better crow control unit for that specific scenerio His DPS is actually insane but it actually gets outclassed by Empress Cat for pure dps. Empress has more reliable debuffs with %100 rate but less targets when you need support dps AND crowd control of any kind AND doesnt get outperformed by Empress cat. That is when Tyrant is useful which is really rare Dont get me wrong. Good stats, Good effect, massive range and accuracy but not very reliable B tier imo

Thanks, for lumina I think she's a bit overrated, as for emperor he's a unit that you can slap in any lineup and know he'll be of great use 95% of the time. Even just his DPS and range make him solid against traitless enemies

Again lumina is stuck with mediocre range and piss damage. The main usage is in itf and cotc which is in early-mid game. In late game you almost never see pure alien stages. Even if you look past that there are surges and curse which damage her viability. She just isn’t versatile enough for the late game.

@@trixelbc Emperor does not even has that high dps, adding that to his CC, that it's not actually that good make him a unit that unit that does not even work for most of the stages, he has no inmunity that make him has a worse survability than a lot of range attackers, and now days there're a lot of enemies with Surge, wave, explosion in the nexts updates. And Lumina is, first of all, the best anti alien in the entire game, great stats that Can be even used has a generalist in late game, not only in pure only alien stages, but now if we count the insanely though ability + 100% 50% weaken with 100% uptime between attacks, with a great general survibality + a low CD that makes her appear again in the battle before even the first Lumina dies. She deserves at least a top five Emperor and Gaia extremely overrated

Warlock/catman evaporate aliens and have multi uses, bora and gravi can both deal with aliens really well But the main thing here for me is: they can be used generally (kinda) or some mixed stages, lumina dies instantly to any non alien Let me compare her and klay, my klay at level 40 can do 163k damage a hit with over 100k hp, no alien is getting pass that so why would I need to tank? I even have alternative like angel and floating? TLDR: no versatility which kills her on mixed stages which become common after cotc

Now, from an end game player who’s played for years since it came out, I think this is MUCH better than most rankings but I have really a couple critiques Firstly you’re not focussing on end game standards enough, primarily the miyamoto can rip through black bosses and really any medium peon in the end game setups although he should still remain quite low due to lack of survivability, lumina is not underrated given her ludicrous stats for her mobility, and emperor simply isn’t that great anymore for endgame standards. My other thing is izanami - in what world isn’t it above Zeus and USHI 😭 but I do agree with 95% of this list so great job and high quality content 👏 👏

Thanks, For ushi there have been new angel enemies recently in endgame so that drives his viability a lot. As for Zues and Izanami and wasn't sure where to put who. It was close but ultimately decided to favor Zues' standing range and LD for his sniping capabilities

I personally feel like jeanne is massively overrate, she doesn't have much health but has more speed than most meatshields, so once a certain peon dies and the way is clear, jeanne will rush to the base and instantly die to the boss. also worth mentioning that Lumina has the health to stall and even knock back the boss so that the meatshields can cover her. I have both of them as my only legend rares so I know which is better in my case. And I even use Lumina as a frontline unit to protect my back liners. don't get me wrong her health is great so she can stand more attacks and be way more useful than jeanne. Or maybe I only feel like that cuz I have the best back liner unit (IMO) Phonoa, and I don't have a tank thats why I just use Lumina to hold the front Line against any enemy. I have garu but Lumina performs better than garu and by the time one Lumina dies, I can send out another due to the low cost and low recharge time. Lumina should have been higher and (IMO) jeanne is even worse than Proff Abyss.

I get your point but the pixies are built for aliens (starred and non starred) while dark heros target regular enemies only but in exchange for targeting starred aliens too, they trade it to target another trait completely, and so they're the closest legend rares to compare

I think Gaia and Emperor are a little overhyped and Izanami was done a little dirty, but otherwise I agree. Like, I use Izanami way more than my Gaia bc it just feels so hard to keep Gaia alive most of the time. Plus, there are a bunch of other units that can output big damage so I don't really find a place where I NEED her or where she trivializes the stage, but like Izanami makes floor 50 of heavenly tower and the Kappy stages her bitch. Especially with Izanagi so high, I would think she'd be higher than 7th, even though I agree Izanagi is the best legend rare.

@@trixelbc Well, what was the last time when you used gaia? It was prob in SOL, if you use her outside early or middle game, she is useless. I beat UL comfortably without using gaia, she just gets crushed by enemies. If enemy goes into her blindspot 2 times (which is very common) she is dead, also, she doesn't have any immunities. Name me 10 late - end game stages, where she's good without uber support.
