You said the lightsaber was selling on ebay for $100 and I was like... no way, I know star wars fans are crazy but thats such a basic build, and usually GWPs only go for MAYBE double the price... looked it up and recent listings have sold between $120 and $175. What a freaking joke!!!

I think I'm only getting the classic Batmobile. Although I think the model is severely lacking in the features department. But the challenge will be to add steering and an engine bay with opening bonnet. But only once it gets to around 100 euro.

I think that Lego missed opportunity to bring whole Lightsaber collection to sell. They could sell one lightsaber handle every season - Luke, Vader, Yoda and one million other Jedis...

I remember the days when the logos I was seeing were like: city, power miners, Atlantis, Aqua raiders, agents, mars mission, castle, creator expert, bionicle etc. so many little lego OG concepts. I understand that time moves and markets change but I have to admit, I do miss it.

⁠​⁠@@JanGeertsema-h2s I feel like _LEGO Dimensions_ really does showcase that unfortunate shift towards licensed products. Only four original LEGO themes even were represented in that game, with _LEGO City_ only being represented at the end of the game's lifespan because Traveler's Tales had the _LEGO City Undercover_ remaster to advertise. In fact, The LEGO Group still had a treasure trove of original franchises back in 2015-2017: _Ultra Agents, Nexo Knights, Friends, Elves, Mixels,_ and _BIONICLE!_ And none of them were represented. I just wonder if _LEGO City Undercover_ underperforming because it was sandwiched between _LEGO Batman 2_ and _LEGO Marvel Superheroes_ made the team at Traveler's Tales believe that the general audience of gamers don't care for original LEGO properties, and they just want licensed stuff they know of like _Star Wars_ and _Harry Potter._ Not helping was the sheer amount of one-off franchises represented in _LEGO Dimensions_ like _The A-Team_ or _Beetlejuice,_ with so many of them not getting anything else beyond the game's sets.

Most likely getting Jabba's Sail Barge (rip) since I sold my older one back in 2017. I don't have an official lightsaber and scalpers are continuingly holding us SW fans ransom although Lego could help us out by making this stuff readily available.. A Halloween & Brickheadz gwp is also nice.

I can't help but say that UCS Shadow the Hedgehog bust is both a rushed product to cash in on SEGA's Year of Shadow the Hedgehog campaign, and that it highlights the limitations of the brick in a bad way, which just makes me miss CCBS all the more. Knowing that Jang was once an expert at CCBS builds, I just wonder what that Shadow bust would even look like if it used CCBS parts? Surely, the shape of his quills would feel a lot more organic compared to using wedge pieces.

I like the closed cockpit on the drop ship too, but it's a bit...stubby. I get it's a double pack, but it's just a tad short for me. That being said, I think it'll be a great MOC if you mash a few together.

Yeah that sail barge is 650$ in Canada which is about 2 times what I’m willing to pay. I could maybe get behind it if they lowered it by 200$ and at least then I could justify it by using insider points but that price is absolutely insane.

Too bad the Bat mobile didn’t include virtual pivot steering like the 89 Batmobile. I know it’s just a shelf queen but it would be more fun to build. It feels like Lego took a step back on this one.

@ginyutiki I don't think the Mario and Yoshi is too bad because it's 1215 pieces and it also moves, so it's not just a static pixel art. But yeah, that Shadow set is terrible

When I saw the light saber I initially thought it was a space ship in a new setting and was excited. Oh well, if I ever got it that's what it'd be :) The drop ship looks like a brick built Death Star gunner looking for coins under their couch. Joke aside I like the look of the set, especially the rebel speeder's profile, reminds me of the old Kenner mini rigs. Also would like to know if someone every buys two of those banana things just to make a full skeleton
