Eh, it’s not their fault. The sequels did an awful job at creating good characters, don’t forget ruining old ones. “Although she may not be strong in the Force like other leaders, Leia’s leadership and charisma will lead us through the coming-oh, no, she’s a space wizard now.”

@@jasonalcatraz5817 Oh, I’ve got nothing against the actors. You need to work with what you’re given. I myself am an actor. I put the fault onto the writers and directors. If the writers don’t change the character’s lines and Directors don’t change how they want them to act in the script instructions, there’s little you can do as an actor. The actors did a good job with what they were given. I’m just saying that what they were given was a heap of flaming garbage.

Rey is obnoxious, has zero character development, and uses all the Force abilities with absolutely no training in actual combat or utilizing the Force. There’s also something at the end of Rise of Skywalker that I don’t wanna spoil, but you’ll know why we hate her when you see it.

@@directorjames1855 I'm not sure if I want to see it. I only saw the very first movie and I was underwhelmed. By many things. Like I felt iffy that the only stormtrooper who wanted to deflect was a black guy, like make a group of people and maybe only he managed to deflect and survive it so I will not even think if it was forced. But I still liked him. And there was Rey that felt like an android. Sure Luke had bullshite luck but we saw him being guided by forced through the Obi-wan who thought him just feel the force. And help aiming to actually using force tricks? At least let her have her ass handled.

@@AleksanderDrako Regarding the last thing you said, Rey never loses a fight, as far as I remember. She’s always won every battle she’s been in and never had an enemy she really struggled against. Everything’s just been handed to her. Regarding Finn, yeah, he was my favorite resistance character in the beginning, but they kinda ruin him later. In Rise of Skywalker, literally most of his lines were just yelling “Rey!”.

@@AleksanderDrako Pretty much, he usually does jack squat and the one time he tries to do something to save everyone another person we all hate stops him and they do something else instead. What was going to be his “hero moment”, he instead, basically, got told that was dumb.
