To be fair, Biggs was a very minor character in the movie. Apparently, Luke and Biggs were supposed to have some scenes on Tatooine in the first act of A New Hope, but they were cut from the final release. And it was probably the right choice because the first draft of that movie was famously pretty bad and boring.
