Nah obviously Sasuke was always the love of his life lol but they weren't going to make a gay couple canon in Naruto obvs. Sakura and Hinata were needed to continue the next generation, that's pretty much it. Naruto fought for Sasuke pretty much most of the series and focused primarily on him plus they literally kissed twice. Accident yeah, but still...the animators seemed to enjoy teasing their relationship. I dunno but Naruto seemed to have feelings beyond friendship for Sasuke...that's just my opinion.

I strongly doubt that Sasuke isn’t fully recovered from his despair on what happened to his older brother, though I’m pretty sure that he’s still sad about how it all happened and wished that thing’s could’ve been different, but Sasuke wasn’t in the right mind at all when he tried killing her twice in that exact same day, it’s kinda like those who have done crimes but have repented for them and became a better person doesn’t deserve any 2nd chances to their own happiness tbh Though I do sadly gotta agree that Sasuke didn’t show any interest in much of any girl(including Sakura) and that even though he had a soft spot for her to where he saw her along with the rest of team 7 as his family, but his romance side didn’t seem to show much at all until around the very ending of the manga/anime and much more through the Boruto series(which is still not that often sadly😅😵) so I can understand and kinda agree with on why most or some people still don’t like/agree with this ship tbh

I agree with you completely. I accept every couple end up together in this, but not all of them are perfect I think. I actually got bored with Sasuke's attitude towards his friends. I knew that he eventually came to them but it's too late. So in my couple ranking Sasusaku is the lowest. Naruhina and Narusaku are good but not perfect. Minato Kushina, Shikamaru Temari, Boruto Sarada... Some of them I like the best just like I prefer Shikamaru over Sasuke as Naruto's friendship and The Sasuke Retrieval Squad over team 7 as the best squad. It's all my opinion don't get serious about that.

Back in 2005 as I watch Naruto, I do feel Naruto and Sakura make a good pair. I would say if the illustrator still keep Hinata’s look as she was a kid, I would disagree to make her as Naruto’s wife. Shikamaru and Temari is the best couple there's no doubt. Sakura's obsession over Sasuke even tho he was mean to her is yes slightly weird but also she knew what he was going through so probably chalked it off to that and its pretty common as kids for boys to be mean to girls when they like them. It's some weird childish banter, i remember doing it myself when i was like early school grades being annoying to one girl who i actually really liked. For some reason this CC doesn't see how Naruto Hinata came to be but for me it looks like it was built up from very early on. Naruto was supposed to be dumb and oblivious to many things that's why he often overlook hinata but even his dumb ass said early on he liked her. Here we have to blame Kishimoto the writer abit on not doing more interactions between them and leaving large gaps where they wouldnt see each other or interact. Still it's a very obvious couple to me and one that made alot of sense. I don't remember much about Ino Sai as couple, if my memory serves me riight people made some fun about Ino liking broken men and well can't be any more broken than Sai. It's definetly a weird couple but it is what it is. Choji Karui is personally a fav of mine tho it wasnt built at all, there was just hint that Choji would visit her so that's atleast explanation how it happened.
