Sakura in the other hand wasn't even scared, she brought a kunai and faced him knowing she can't do anything... so next time when u compare, atleast be fair. Also, Sakura is the real example of cheer will power, perseverance and talent. She went from a ninja with no special power to the strongest kunoichi of her generation. Just imagine if she had byakugan? she'd be overpowered. Hinaat was GIFTED with her powers... and yet she wans't talented enough to perform half of her family's traditional techniques.

Of all the married couples in Boruto, Sakura and Sasuke's union is the oddest. She still treats him like his some kind of idol singer fainting when he's around and they have been married for years. Always accept Hinatas over Sakuras. Hinata accepted him from the start. She liked him because he was the type of person she wanted to be like. Naruto was like her hero. He was outspoken, and kept on trying despite his failures. Narutos drive and determination to improve made her interested in him. Most likely it was just a crush then it developed into love as she grew up around him, rooting for him and aspiring to be more like him. His acknowledgment of her efforts just made her like him more until she grew up and kept those feelings. Which she later accepted as love for him most likely friendship love then as she got to know him personally it become romantic love. Sakura did grow to love Naruto too but it never grew anything beyond familial love or friendship love. Ya go through enough life or death experiences you will grow to develop some kind of bond with another person. She also grew to respect narutos efforts just didn’t let go of her crush and later romantic love for Sasuke. Why would you wanna be with someone who chooses you second?

I just made it more concrete as to why and how Hinata liked Naruto and as we all are aware love doesn’t just happen it blossoms over time. So I explained it in the phases it took, from what we’ve seen in the manga and anime. Hinata at first had a crush because for the most part she barely ever talked to Naruto. But when he stood up for her (Chunin exams), they finally had that one moment before Naruto V Neji. It also was that moment I can genuinely believe she actually saw that Naruto was someone she actually could love. And in Shippuden when she saw him after he returned her same feelings rushed back confirming that understanding that she was beginning to know she loved him not just like a crush, or genuine romantic like but actual romantic love.

When she confessed Naruto didn't think it was Romantic love He just thought she cared and loved in a friendly way because hinata said Daisuke which means I love you in friendly way. Yet you are right He started to fell in love with hinata slowly slowly but he didn't knew In the last movie when he got to know that hinata loved him He began to understand love and in no time he realised that he loves hinata. That is why it took him only 2 days to confess his love. It was canon though 1. Naruto never breaks promises but When Naruto thought pain killed hinata, he was soo full of anger that kurama took over. Even Kakashi had died but still Naruto was in full control but hinata's death triggered him. 2. At the beginning of infinite tsukuyomi, when hinata said Naruto's name, Naruto was about to go save hinata but was stopped by sasuke. These are minor details but they show that Naruto had soft spot for hinata. Though they deserved more scenes together later but still it's fine.

Sorry to break this to any NaruSaku fans but Naruto only loved Sakura because he was competing with Sasuke. They didn’t have true romantic love and Sakura knew this. She also knew that Hinata loved Naruto and actively tried to get the two together. I say he had a minor crush on her during the academy and that was it just a crush.
