Very good builds. Imma add one of my own here. This build is meant to be a versatile DPS build. If you find a good gun you can pick it up and use it, also if someone else is using the same ammo type you can switch gun types easy. Plus you can build out towards specific gun types with card shrines. This also makes the build fun for many many runs because its always different with different guns. This is the build. Generally speaking the best char for this build is Jim with tala or hoff beinbg close seconds. There's a huge difference in difficulty in solo and quick play. These look like solo builds. Also scavenger cards help so much in no hope because no items spawn expect sometimes in stash rooms. Self sustained cards are so important. In solo no hope you basically can run any build with proper map knowledge.

"Down in front" is mainly used where there is ADS (Because due to poor visibility in ADS it brings a lot of Friendly fire) As for “Fit as a fiddle”, everything is simple here; this card does not fit well with every build

Is losing Money Grubbers and Copper Scavenger really worth 2 more melee cards? That melee build really looks "short sightened" because these 2 extra melee cards (for example I lack Scar Tissue and Berserker to have more copper) deny me quit some copper to buy stuff later in the act. NOT that I have doubt in your builds or knowledge, but I simply dont understand why Card X outweighs Card Y Edit: Also EMT Bag does increase some healing from the other cards (Vanguard for example)/ melee attachments, so why did you choose against it? I also wonder how you can live with the Trauma Damage on NH

For LMG: Silver Bullets is additive with LCR, therfore you can drop it. Ammo belt, Tac Vest, and OYM should he plenty of ammo, don't need ammo mule. I'd replace those two cards with copper scav since you already have LP, and maybe confident killer for more damage

He runs a self sustaining(ish) melee build. I run healer and mutation killer. With only 2 of us, it sometimes feels like we are both having to carry the weight of 2 players each in terms of what cards we take. Limited slots means we can’t cover everything. Any ideas?

I wouldn't recommend you take the sniper on the medic because the sniper requires the most cards, which doesn't play well with the medic cards. You can take a shotgun, it will be more versatile than a sniper rifle

I tested Money grubbers and Lucky Pennies a long time ago, I came to the conclusion that they are the same if you take them alone, but if you take, for example, 4 "lucky pennies", then it will be much more profitable than 4 "money grubbers"
