Quarterly Bonus is extremely strong as it is right now. The concept is extremely fun, but I reaaaally hope _adding_ 4 attack to Zombie wasn't intentional.

It was intentional at first I'd take it. Compared to lurch for lunch it's also a stronger sweet treat. It's a trade off for 4 strength. Then the janitor decided to rework it but forgot to add the effect. If quarterly bonus worked like the card says, it'd be absolutely useless. Most cards you'd want to give a bonus attack to have more strength than 4. Even then, it's still double the cost of lurch for lunch. It should be nerfed to +3 strength instead. Even at +2 it'd still be better than the effect on the card. Then again, the janitor reverted the cakexplosion bufff for no reason even though that card was still outclassed by fruitcake and sizzle still is alive and broken, and the fact that trash even existed in the game with no changes means the janitor doesn't have a grasp at balance.

It could be the BASE attack becomes 4. Since in the intro (for example) the Duck Zombie had +3 attack to base. So it becomes 4 base +3 = 7 (i think)

The way the devs decided to make large minions leave behind effects rather than hunting down every hard removal card to unreasonable cost is probably a much more fun way to balance the game, plus does well on the issue of plants rushing in other lanes. They did super well

Hey fry! i had a unique interaction using your deck, my regifter ended up giving the opponent a 1-1 sunflower, which became a 0-0. but they had lilly of the valley, they played it on heights and it still ended up dying for free when it spawned xD

Tbh that makes sense. Since the plant has to be played 1st then lilly's buff applies after it spawns. But since the plant had 0 health, it will insta die before it can hit the field

My thought for the Cakesplosion nerf is that everyone who used to be running fruitcake immediately adopted it, and it was a good card in a very good deck, so its winrate soared, especially since it was a card Brainstorm really liked, who was probably the 2nd-best hero after Immorticia.

Quarterly Bonus is in this weird limbo where if it is intended to be +4 then the card is OP and should cost 6, and if it is set to 4 the card is bad and should cost 3 which at least would make it okay in some decks It is funny thinking the Janitor trying to figure out how to code the changes and confused a "==" with "+=" and that made this card add power instead 😅

Usually bigger/modular projects don’t make changes by directly changing other cards data, it’s more likely a function like setAttack(card, atk), in comparison to the janitor accidentally using addAttack(card,atk). Also “==“ often doesn’t refer to setting variables, and is instead a Boolean statement to determine whether variables are equal.

I think Wormhole works exactly as intended. It only making the cards that it conjures cheaper for both sides still creates plenty of chaos, and in a way that can't really be controlled by the player playing the wormhole by making all their other conjures cheaper. You can still abuse it heavily with spacetime and making the card conjured by wormhole super cheap but it'd probably be a bit busted if it functioned like spacetime does instead of just being refined chaos

With the way that updates are being delivered, it makes me think that the dev(s) are not testing their changes nor give it off to a QA tester so they can find anything to break. But on the other hand, it can be advantageous to let the fans find bugs instead of internally finding them, as long as its not completely breaking the game. It can be efficient from the devs perspective because they dont need to spend time testing! 🙂

Quarterly bonus can't really be compared to blazing bark time to shine, it costs literally twice as much and obviously the ability is way stronger on the plants side. Yes it's OP obviously but there's a reason that plant food costs 4 and lurch for lunch costs 2 (yes plant food gives +1/+1, but it's also the stronger card)

Cat Lady nerf is a little sad but I totally get it. A *one cost* that has both good health and amazing damage is just way too versatile. It's still pretty good post nerf, though. Boogaloo Pets is really fun, esp with the Dab buff (I've learned so many great cards are Pets!)

So many new deck ideas my head hurts! I noticed you are having the same issues with the balance patches and bug fixes, you can't even get a full 8 games in because the busy holidays and changes I made a ramp/pineclone deck with fig, molekale and still 2 cob cannons (and 2 gloom shrooms) that's been working really well, while also being really fun to play. I also saw the idea in chat to make a blob deck with quarterly bonus. So I made teleimps with blob, quarterly and viking as a secondary finisher/block clearer for the imp spam. I've also experienced the new imp commander works pretty well with gravestone, since they usually try to front the other imps and don't care about the gravestone. So far the deck is amazing, but I could barely play it since everyone is still playing zombies. Instant matches with plants and waiting for a few minutes sometimes to get one match as a zombie lol.

I just played a HG deck since I just got him a couple days ago and got BMR into gas giant and nurse. If Nurse healed like it says on the card right now I would've healed 22 that turn half of which would've been from gas giant splash if it heals from hitting zombies since Nurse says when a giant does damage. P.S. it killed a galacta that's why it splashed so much no team ups involved on plant side

Honestly I don't see it for Regifter and Wormhole Fun conjure cards? Yes of course Actually good cards? Eh Like cosmic sport zombie is much better, -2 cost is much better than just +1/+1 and it doesn't give a card to the opponent, I wish they also changed some of the stats of regifter because just 3 cost 3/2 for a slightly buffed card isn't great And wormhole isn't bad but its main comparison spacetime is way better, which I still hope eventually spacetime gets a nerf to 4 health, but as it is now spacetime seems superior
