all instruction music from all mario parties! except advance, that one doesn't have a minigame instructions music. this is an updated video of the previous one i uploaded before 10 and island tour were made. i know that 9 and island tour have the same music, but i uploaded it with both anyways because island tour sounds a bit different, like a remix version.

I really feel like people are constantly hating on Mario Party 9, because it's where the main shift started, but Mario Party 9 isn't as bad as people say, even with the cart. The use of the cart in Mario Party 10 is where that mechanic truly goes to shit. 9 makes use of it pretty well.

Every mario party minigame theme after 8 ( not including ds) was downhill for me. the rest was good, catchy, or nostalgic. Witch is the way a mario party minigame theme should be, because then you have reason to go back to it and remember the days you had with the game you played.

The first one is pretty good and memorable, giving me a sense of nostalgia depsite never playing the game. But then the downwards spiral arrives with 2, 3 and 4 because they sound absolutely strange and random. It gets better with 5 though, a song I have a lot of nostalgia from, then a little worse again with 6 and 7 (not bad, just not nearly as great). But then comes 8 which has the personal favourite for me, giving a different but nostalgic sense of climax. DS, 9, Island Tour and 10 are just meh. They're not great, but they're not bad (and this is coming from someone though who loves 9 and IT)

Ranking these themes from my least favorite to my favorite: 12: Mario Party 10: It's so dull, not very fun to listen to. 11. Mario Party DS: As much as I like the game, the minigame music is too short of a loop, even for a handheld game. 10: Mario Party 2- I don't know, but it doesn't feel much like Mario Party music to me. 9: Mario Party 5: It's nice, but still a bit lackluster. 8: Mario Party 9: Cute-sounding, though still a bit plain. 7: Mario Party 6: Decent, though a bit too bright. 6: Mario Party 1: It definitely has something going for it. 5: Mario Party 8: I kinda like this one because it feels perfect for its atmosphere. 4: Mario Party 7: The fact that it contains MP6's minigame melody makes it better. 3: Mario Party Island Tour: It's way better than 9, despite sounding very similar. 2: Mario Party 4: A solid instruction music to a solid Mario Party game. 1: Mario Party 3: Ah, this was my childhood. Playing this with one of my closest friends makes it my favorite entry in the series. The music here is as catchy as it can get; it screams "Mario Party" for me the most.
