These sets is what actually got me into mega construct. And it did not take a genius to realize that this was way more advanced than Lego. Even though Lego has better quality. Mega construx completely blows them out of the water when it comes to design and overall shelf appearance. And the sad thing is about 95% of my destiny collection is still in the boxes.

I don't know why they discontinued it. This was a Line Mega Tried so Hard with. It probably didn't sell so well but it was a favorite line for sure because Destiny used the COD system for it's figures. Not to forget all the epic Paint jobs they did.

Those Sparrow sets were $5 each at five below. I went nuts and cleared out the store. And then every five below I came across, I cleared out those stores as well. You can never have too many building blocks. So we didn't bother me to have triples and doubles and quadruples of the same sets.

@@Merlynn132 probably about 5 or 6 years ago. And before they had destiny they had those assassin Creed sets. I thought they was cool but they didn't catch my attention. But when I saw the destiny sets and the monster high sets. I decided to get in.

Mega could literally do a collab with Warhammer 40k and use the cabal figures as a starting point for creating their own space marines

The problem with Destiny is that it's as uninspired as CoD without the excuse of being "realistic". It's just kind of there. It doesn't go anywhere,it doesn't have memorable characters or an interesting story,and it doesn't have any style. It just kind of sits there. With games like Saints Row,Halo,Starcraft,or Super Mario Bros,there's something to latch on to that's uniquely theirs. Saints Row lets you pretty much do things as you like. Halo's a decent shooter with a good story and memorable designs. Starcraft had style and story and a really polished game. And Super Mario has a legacy of memorable characters and wacked out power ups and wild stories. All of these translate pretty well to toys. Destiny didn't even translate well as a game. They had no idea what they were doing. There's nothing to latch on to. The designs are dull. Not once did I see something in the game and thought "Man,I'd like to ride in one of those." or "I wanna wear that." or "I wanna do that." It's just a boring slog of a game. Waste of time and effort. And since it's an Activision/Blizzard game,when I think of the other games they had that would make awesome toys,the whole thing just seems like wasted potential. Honestly,I think Mega should've used their World of Warcraft line to make a back door Warcraft line. Forget "world",just do some Warcraft with some army builders and stuff. I'd have loved a Warcraft 2 Death Knight or some Alliance swordsmen and Horde orc warriors. Ah well. I'm not in charge of anything,so I guess it doesn't matter what I would've done.
