This was an incredible huge and ambitious line. The Dragon's line is one of my most favorites next to the Pyrate's Line. I would pass on the figures but, the special pieces, bricks, and tiles, even the dragons were incredibly detailed. I miss the days Mega did it's own unique IP's and creative lines. Now it is basically MOTU, Poke'mon, Hot Wheels, and Halo.

I know that this isn't all of the sets as their are at least close to double the amount out there. However, I am impressed how much you found and the fact there where some I have never seen until now! I loved that this video was made as this theme was everywhere back in the day but its history is so obscure

Awesome video! It must have taken ages to compile it all. I noticed couple of sets slipped through the cracks, but given how much this line mutated over the years that's not surprising. oh found it. from the Plasma Dragon line. 9607 Sether Metal Slash Dragon. that was one of my favourites. along with Serpentorch.

@@gendraconis7869 Yeah, the plasma dragons line started with Metal Ages and ran all the way through until the series finished in 2006 with Battlestorm Epic. From memory, I think there were six original plasma dragons, called Sether, Brimer, Tailtorn, Vile, Crymson and Boulder.

Thanks to this video I was able to identify which set a friend of mine was given for her birthday many many years ago. It was the Wizards' Strong Box. Question: She is also remembering some sort of game that came with it? Like a computer game but not flash game. I've found that it's from the Spellcasters series. Was there ever such a thing?

Probably, I remember the Pyrates sets sometimes came with a computer disc with games on it. The dragons linn aparently had a DVD movie as well!? (Yes mega bloks was trying hard at the time). Since Dragons came before pyrates line, I wouldn't be suprised if some sets came with DVD Discs.

Man, this video is incredible! Because you show me their's obscure sets that i NEVER knew they existed i my childhood. It's very sad that IP might never come back again due to Retro and Gaming IP that Mattel/Mega brands tries to cash in. Secondly, the state of mega brands seems not looking good when it comes to distribution and lack of library of themes. Also, kids these days doesn't play with toys that much anymore. But seriously, if Mega brands lives longer, but began to have financial issue, i wish older fan ask them to bring back the IP and maybe, just maybe, Mega brand see an opportunity to make money by bringing their successful original IP. I doubt it will happen before the company close is door, but I'm still dreaming.

Yea, it's been a long time. I wish they would re spark this line again. Such a good line it was. I miss when mega did their IP's instead of using other franchise licensee. Also sad to see COD get cancelled as well.

Mega bloks dragon that's cool an articulated with stud compatibility. I think the only exception is when the dragon is very huge but still I like my dragons being action figures instead. That being said The game of thornes dragons were epic! Despite being brick built, mega did an epic job with it.
