Finally someone in the production team realized how annoying it is to see Angemon and Angewomon digivolve together but in their mismatched forms (like when we had Seraphimon and Holydramon. Or Pegasusmon and Angewomon). Finally they digivolve to their matching forms when they digivolve together.

Mainly because Gatomon's Ophanimon line was shoehorned in to enforce a ship later so Patamon needed a Beast Mega to match and Goddramon is one of the few that kinda works. Ophanimon I'm pretty sure wasn't originally a part of the Gatomon line the same way that Garurumon was actually the evolution for Elecmon that Gabumon stole by wearing the fur coat of a Garurumon.
