I have been a speaker for 30 years and truely feel you are one of the best speakers I have ever watched on multiple levels. I am just shocked at the team you have as I had signed up to attend one of your events and your team dropped the ball on several occasions, showed disrespect for my time and seemed lost. It was such a contrast to you and your videos that I did not come and just took the loss on the money. I would hope you would have people that were in alignment with your quality and hope that has changed!

Owen has your blood pressure and stress levels gone down a lot since you started traveling? Im really learning that properly managing and releasing stress is a top priority and is something I've worked hard on turning 30 this year. I believe many people are stuck because they can't handle the stress of what you teach. That and just don't have the energy. Love that you preach whole food organic diets soooo underrated.

Amazing video, Owen. Let me share, I have a special chat with myself where I track my tasks every day. The amount done goes into Excel, where I can calculate sums and averages for a month. Thing is I'm doing that for 3 months and my productivity doubled. But I have to be honest, sometimes I lose to my emotions. For example I'm trying to learn coding with a mentor and a have my first task that I'm not all that sure how to implement. I can't start doing that for a week already. I think many people have the same problem, their inner monkey is way too like the familiar and don't want to do the unknown.
@bladenovak
@bladenovak 2 ай бұрын
Hey dude, I’m in the same boat as you, been tracking my deep work hours for months, had a good run until an unrelated stressful week triggering a cheat month with 0 productivity, and now back into it, stronger than ever, did 7 hours of deep work today 💪 What works for me is negotiating with the monkey (e.g. “lets just do the smallest part of this task, 15 minutes” and gain momentum over the next week), or trying to make the monkey see that the suffering (aka work) is worth it, or using chatgpt to break tasks down to smallest steps that the monkey is willing to do right now, or just fucking drug the monkey with coffee and/or nicotine gum lol, this one helps me turn 2hrs of focus into 6+. Hope that helps, happy to give more insight.

I'm 36 bro, there's always hope. Might just achieve the results at an older age, but if you've been looking after yourself, you should have more than enough capability to follow this advice. I'm certainly not where I want to be financially, largely due to covid wiping out my career and business (I got fired and couldn't access the sites where my business had clients due to the vaccine mandates we had here in Australia), and having 4 kids and a wife that can't work for similar reasons (vaccination still required for her industry) haven't helped... but if you give up hope, then it's literally hopeless. There's always a way, mate.

Napoleon Hill in "Think And Grow Rich" found that many men achieved success later in life (after 40 and even 50) which he attributed to them no longer being so distracted by sex. Honestly disappointed by Owen's comment here. Think about it, if you are 45, healthy, have a net worth of a few million and living your lifestyle of choice, it doesn't matter if you have been successful for the last 20 years or if you did it all since you were 36.

@@OwenCookSelfHelpdisappointing comment. You never know the circumstances life throws at people (divorce, health, mental, etc) Most men actually find true success at 40 and beyond. That’s when all that knowledge from grinding and the people skills you’ve developed actually start to help you make big moves. This “grind grind in your 20’s culture and being a millionaire by the time you’re 30” is circle jerk brainwash to sell young men courses.

Social skills and networking (business opportunities, stock tips etc). Using time effectively (making youtube videos for example), getting a mentor, going to events. It's crazy to me how people get spoonfed, and then whine that they have to chew the food, too.
