Thanks for the video! One thing that stands out to me, is that mario has 3 (unique?) minigames, some other characters only 1 and some none. I also can't find shy guy says and bumper balls on the minigame selection (Could be wrong on that one though), which leads me to believe that you can choose different minigames per character like they did with stages in mario party jamboree (Example: You could choose between an ice, lava or hilly stage for bumper balls etc.)

If you notice, there are 4 vines sticking out of the clouds for bumper balls. So my guess is you play leaf leap then end up on the cloud for bumper balls. Then after bumper balls, the remaining player(s) jump off and gain balloons to join the other players for shy guy says as the last leg of the ally minigame

For mario you get all those 3 minigames in a row not just one and winner is probably determined from all those minigames combined. All ally minigames are significantly longer than regular minigames because the minigame is either very long one or its basically multiple different levels within that minigame. For example luigis minigame has you solve 10 different rooms which makes it a lot longer than regular minigames. Daisy minigame has you do multiple different levels which changes every 30 seconds. And waluigis minigame is longer than 150 seconds because at 150 seconds all players already had a lot of points so its probably even longer than that. And yoshis minigame is a race but you can see that its actually a pretty long race.

Im noticing how alot of these minigames are completely new while also copying elements from minigames from the first 10 mario parties and merging them giving us basically a best of combination. While also making sure the minigames are unique and new. Like for example that triathlon game. First part is Mario Medley from 4, second is Trike Harder from Super, and the hurdle part is Track and Yield from 7. Which combined gives us a 4 player version of Ridiculous Relay from 3. 10:12 Basically just a more fair version of River Raiders from 3. 10:27 An actual playable version of Spotlight Swim, 11:22 Gives me alot of vibes of Cliffhangers from 4, 11:28 Basically a combined Cake Factory from 2, Dash and Dine from Super, and Stamp By Me from 6. 12:11 We’ve seen alot of minigames like this before. Where you have to think about what the other players will pick in hopes of not screwing yourself over. Alot of mario party games have had a minigames like this. Star Rush, and Super. (And i guess alot means 2 apparently), 12:24 Cucumberjacks from DS, with elements of one of my favorite 2 v 2s… Battery Ram from 7, the arms look a bit like the ones from Boxing Day from 7, and this minigame is also basically Manic Mallets from 5, 13:02 Picture Perfect from 8. And they even brought 8 player minigames back. Which is a surprise and I never thought would ever happen again but o-okay. There are many more but thats all ill say for now

First super mario party already had minigames that felt like "sequels" to some old minigames. For example bumper brawl was like bumper balls but now with supercharge ability that knocks others a lot further away making it much less likely to end in draw like classic bumber balls. Slapparazi was like flash forward but better because it was bigger area and you were taking multiple pictures while the original flash forward was just one picture making it way too short. Senseless census was like roll call but the toads arent all just on one screen and you have to move around to be able to see all of them to count them correctly. First super mario party already had really good minigames where some of them were like improvement over old minigames. Its main issue was that boards sucked and forced joycon use.

@@Marko-ij4vy yeah but it did them worse. Like you couldn’t really beat the classics. Doubt jamboree will blow the classics out of the water, but atleast they’ll be more fun. Most of supers minigames were either boring or just dreadful. Mostly being the main issue from 8 but imo even worse. Terrible and poor uses of motion controls. Trike Harder controls so awkwardly, same with Social Climbers, I like Candy Shakedown tho. Trip Navigator is a smart idea, Croozin for a Broozin is a relatively fun one. Dont Wake Wiggler is horrible purely for one reason only. No i dont even need to state it, you all know what. Drop Quiz is such a stupid, bs 1v3. Maths of Glory is just “ok press the button and pray” While I do like some games like most of the rhythm games, Candy Shakedown again, Croozin’ for a Broozin’, Trip Navigator, Soak or Croak, Fuzzy Flight School, Slapparazi, Snack Attack, Sizzling Steaks, and Tall Order. But the rest are mostly just mediocre and boring

Great video as always, it looks like Jamboree has an overall really good selection of minigames between returning ones, completely new ones and technically new ones, but inspired by past Mario Parties spread across all the different modes! 6:13 Could also be a reaction minigame where you're shown a specific fruit and you have to choose it faster than the others to get more points. 12:37 Considering the characters are pressing buttons to operate the arms my guess is a mashing minigame. 13:40 Always nice to see (relatively) obscure Mario characters/enemies in spin-offs, in this case Walleyes from 3D World! 18:42 Probably bringing Peach the correct combinations of donuts (maybe those shown behind her on the left?).

I think my favourite is the Yoshi riding one, feels surprising it's I believe the first time they've had something involving riding them (granted probably because of the whole Yoshi riding Yoshi thing) I'm looking forward to seeing how weird characters like Goomba will look riding one.

That was an epic video swifty. Minigames for me are the best part of Mario party, and seeing them all here was amazing. They all look sooo good, can’t wait to play them. So many to choose but the falling sandwiches looks so much fun and the basketball game as well plus hot blocks as well. Less than a month away from release now😊🥳

Thanks man. It took me a while to collate all the footage and then educated myself on all the minigames. But, it's made me even more hype.. The only things I wish I added was mention Platform Peril looks like you can get trapped now.. And then, how Leaf Leap, Bumper Balls and Shy Guy Says could all be grouped together.. Sandwiched might be my most hyped NEW minigame!

Also, here are my other thoughts about the minigames: - I’m looking forward a lot to the Showdown minigames! Actually, I have to wonder, Swiftjar, which one of the Showdown minigames, whether we’ve seen footage of it or not, are YOU most looking forward to? (Myself, I really like the puzzle gauntlet of Luigi’s minigame due to being a lover of brain teasers and puzzles. I definitely want to see other characters who especially have Showdown minigames of their own try to rescue Luigi - I’d also like to hope that some of the characters actually care about saving Luigi, too. Mario…? Daisy…? 😢😢) - I’m also really interested in Impostor Bowser’s minigames from Koopathlon, mainly because I want to see the real Bowser be put in the dangerous position for once while Impostor Bowser takes his place. Especially in minigames such as those shown at 23:20 and 23:37. - Also, on a side note, I really want to see the interactions between the real Bowser and Impostor Bowser when the game comes out. I don’t think they’d go this route, but I think it’d really be interesting to see Impostor Bowser be even more menacing and intimidating to even the real Bowser. Say on the Bowser Spaces, for example, let’s say the event for Bowser is “Lose 10 coins,” there could be dialogue from Impostor Bowser such as: “I don’t care if you are me! I’M in charge! Fork over those coins! NOW!” Just my thoughts. What do you think?

I hope mp 9 and 10 also get som love in future mario parties. The only reason people didnnt like them that much was because of the car system, not because of its minigames cause they were great and creative. Also bring mario party DS minigames back! I miss running from a vacuum cleaner!!!

I dont think the remake of Stamp Out! completely made it plain poring white since if you move very close to the image you can still see the same drawling but its very faited out which is ALMOST completely white. And also Snow Brawl WONT have a night version since they we had several MP6 minigmames on Mario party Superstars that never chance from neither day or night and they are going to stay so NO none of the MP6 minigames will NOT have either versions since all boards dont have the day or night cycles.

I know it is a unpopular opinion, but I am very sad that they seem to shaft all minigames from mp 8-10. The minigames were definitely the best part of 9 and 10 and they were underrepresented in superstars and here too

Literally every mario party game in the series had less or same at the most. The only one that had more was mp9 but mp9 barely had any 2v2 or 1v3 minigames so ofc it had more free for all minigames. Superstars was the only one that had significantly more but you have to factor in those are all old minigames from across the series and not a single one of them is new. And its technically 39 because ally minigames will also happen during boardplay which are also free for all.

@@B0ssguy Its actually 22 if we not count motion minigames (there is 7 motion minigames) then theres 10 ally minigames which play the same as free for all so thats still 32 and we dont know if boss battle minigames appear during boardplay but if they do thats actually 37 not even counting motion minigames. Which is most any mario party had barring superstars.
