SMALL SPOILERS: I know Nintendo didn't want to reference the champions stories too much, so new players wouldn't feel in a need of playing BotW, but man if it weren't for Sidon, it would almost feel like all people forgot who the previous champions were. It was so bizarre Riju not mentioning Urbosa at all for example in TotK. At least in the case of Sidon, his whole internal conflict is because of him losing Mipha and not being able to protect anyone again.

I am quite amazed at implications of the dialogue which tells whether or not Link remembers what happened between them and whether or not he knows why the Zora armor fits perfectly. That means he knew about it at one point or he knew about a way for Mipha to know his body so perfectly that she did a Zora armor which fits perfectly. As I think Mipha totally deserved Link for everything she did for him and for this pure love I definitely love these suggestions even if I am left hungry here. At least I have Heart's escort mission in AOC and the Zora armor's description in French to feed me. And the DLC French version of this dialogue tells "Have you recovered some memories of the time you spent in Zora domain 100 years ago? Do you remember why the zora armor fits you perfectly". I think this confirms what my interpretation was.

So my headcanon is that in order to make the Zora Armor fit perfectly Mipha got Link's measurements discretly from Zelda since Zelda would of needed them to complete an accurate fit of his tunic beforehand. This would already imply that Zelda knew she liked Link (besides some of the possible hinting in the game), but I like to think both princesses knew the truth before she ever did ask

That's a good idea. In my opinion the fact she knew his measurements was linked to the time they spent together as she tells him in the English version of this dialogue "Do you remember what happened between us 100 years ago ? Do you know why does the Zora armor fit perfectly ?" And in the French version she tells "Have you recovered memories of time you spent in Zora domain 100 years ago? Do you remember why does the Zora armor fit so well? ". I am practically sure according to dialogues of the game that Link knew Mipha got his measurements and that it was linked to the time they spent together.

I don’t know, Link spent a lot of time with Mipha as well, and based on bits of dialogue it kind of seems implied that they both had feelings for each other. I think the main reason she had so many reservations and fears was because a lot of Zora were racist against Hylians (in botw Sidon says Mipha kept her feelings secret from Muzu because of his opinion on Hylians). Like I think Link and Mipha loved each other but there was hesitancy on both sides to progress with their relationship.

@@Kohay114 sorry to comment on something you wrote a year ago, i know that’s weird, but if you read mipha’s diary, it’s painfully clear that she never confessed to link, and it’s also clear that she doesn’t know how link feels about her. she writes about how he looks past her and how he doesn’t open up to her. and she states that he’s not as talkative as he used to be. also… he didn’t spend as much time with her as the zora in zora’s domain would leave you to believe. whenever he visited, she would write about it and preface that it’s been ages since he’s visited. it seems like he used to visit the domain a lot (when he was younger probably) and then overtime he stopped, and he also started to shut her out. all of that combined with her jealousy over him spending time with zelda does not make it seem like they were two individuals who were in a romantic relationship -or- even knew about their feelings for each other. i feel like people want miphlink to be canon so bad that they overlook her own diary that has probably the biggest insight to their relationship. her diary was where she could write her experiences and thoughts unfiltered.

Doesn't Sidon tell you right after you get it? There's the flashback where she heavily implies it, and then Sidon pretty much says "The traditional engagement clothes fit this guy. Why do you think that is?". The game makes it obvious she was going to.

I like the idea of that relationship, I wish we had a clue as to how Link felt toward her, I'd suppose they had a certain level of relation seeing how she was going to basically ask him to be her husband in the evening of the day the war started.
