Bouncer! For me he is very iconic because he is literally the cover of the first game and also because he is the first big daddy we see in the game! Apart from the design, which is the most interesting thing for me.

Tie between the Lancer and the Alpha. Bouncer comes close due to being the poster boy (With the Elite Bouncer coming even closer), but the designs of the Alpha and Lancer big daddies always interested me the most. The Alpha big daddies have the closest resemblance to old diving suits to me which I'm really fond of, and plus Delta was an Alpha Series so that's just easy brownie points right there. The Lancer big daddies are the most technologically advanced, and the essence of rapture practically permeates their advanced design that blends between raptures typical Art Deco and something like a medieval knight. It's really hard to choose between them lol

Rosies, I like their design and Elite Rosies are by far the most powerful.

I feel like the first Bioshock game did the best job with its Big Daddies. The Bouncers heads feels too low in Burial At Sea, making them look smaller and more comical. And the way Rosies hold their weapon almost feels more "zombielike," than the ones from Bioshock 2, which I appreciate. It makes them more ominous. Only design that might go to Bioshock 2 is the Rumbler, in my opinion.

I felt like the big daddies in bioshock 2 were way easier to fight. Rumblers were very easy to beat and the elite bouncers were super easy as well. They should have made more powerful big daddies in the second game because subject delta was a lot more powerful than jack

bioshock 2 gotta be my favorite design, the alpha series is a perfect blend of realism and the bioshock artstyle. I can never really envision anyone inside the traditional big daddy suit of bioshock 1

The Lancer is my favorite. That art deco helmet. There's some illustrations of the Lancer and another Art Deco inspired big daddy that look really cool in the bioshock 2 concept art book. I always thought they were so cool and when Minerva's Den was released I was so happy to see the Lancer make it into the game.

1:39 there’s an elite bouncer with a black suit instead of the white? I’d always wondered. NECA did a Bioshock line and their Elite Bouncer model had a black suit instead of the white you usually see. Figured it was based on cut content. I’d only ever seen Elite Bouncers in white/red, never the black/red that the NECA figure has

I’d have to say the Alpha series followed by the Elite rosies, rumblers, bouncers, then the Lancer

So I discovered the location of this Elite Bouncer variant (1:39) replaying Bioshock 2 Remastered. It’s in the Dionysus Park level. Specifically, “The Promenade”. It’s standing in front of the “J. Fischer” door. This Elite Bouncer has a black and red color scheme that differs from every other Elite Bouncer in the game. How did you get this to spawn? I’ve completed the level, but I haven’t boarded the train. I’ve been going around killing the respawning Bouncers in the hopes of finding this permutation, but they are always the normal red and white suited Elites, or the standard units. I have never seen this permutation before in game, and weird little mysteries like this are a hobby. I cannot find it anywhere online. NOBODY seems to know that this exists. Was this a cut model restored on the PC version, or a very rare spawn? There is no video I have ever found or even a google search result that seems to acknowledge this permutation EXCEPT this specific video, and my curiosity abounds.

So, solved the mystery. This red/black version was only used in the original 2010 release. It was changed in the remaster to use the red/white permutation. It’s model probably still exists in the remaster, but as far as I could tell with testing in Dionysus Park, the remaster will NEVER spawn the original black/red permutation

Holy sweet mother of Jesus dude I never knew how much I needed this dude it's EVERYTHING I've ever wanted a close look at every big Daddy type and model from every game even each variation of the alpha series including the plasmid types AND the clean Sinclair model?! Discovering this near new years was definitely a gift dude 😁 was there no way to see the bouncer from BioShock 2 though? Sorry don't mean to sound ungrateful. Edit: im so stupid i just realized the second bouncer was in diyonisus park 🫠
