This was actually a baby version of old gen chameleos’s super which is a lot longer and more dangerous. He locks onto you and moves at your direction and spray concentrated poison at you from a good distance, it can one shot you if not finish you off with noxious poison if you don’t spam your way through your inventory and find a potion.

Fun Fact When Chameleos does his venom ring, you can tell if he’s going to push it in or out depending on where he himself is. If he flies into it, he’s going to push it out. If he flies outside of it, he’s going to compress it inward. It’s a lot harder to notice if you haven’t broken his horn or cut his tail to hinder his invisibility.

If you (or your buddies if he targets them) stay inside the ring, he usually flies outside of it, and vice versa... I usually know to wiredash towards Chameleos to get some free hits in whilst he's blowing the toxic clouds towards non-existent enemies... for an invisible monster, he's quite predictable lol

I think Valstrax's hyper beam attack would also count as a super. And Apex Zinogre's super is the one in which he charges up and shocks the area around him and then does a double tail flip slam combo.

The way I see it, why should you restrict a monster to one super? Almudron's pillar summoning is one super, the boulder smash is another. Valstrax has both "Around the World" and "Final Flash." It's not like you'd only keep yourself to a single trap card, or a single trick up your sleeve. You have multiple trump cards to keep your opponent guessing.

actually chameleos doesn't move the poison depending on where you are, it depends where he is, when he spits the ring he either lands inside or outside the ring, if he lands inside be pushes to poison outwards, if he is outside the ring he condenses it inwards

Nice vid, but I disagree with some attacks : chameleos super is when he puke several poison balls in the air before spitting some very fast poison mist For apex rathian, this is when she fly up very high then dive on the hunter to perform a brutal tail sweep Finally, apex zinogre have a combo where he start doing the stomp with three lines of thunder, jumps then smack you with his sparkling foreleg, and can even do it two times in a row But are these moves more "super" than the ones in the video ? I think it vary depending on the person

I think the one you mentioned for Apex Zinogre does the second foreleg jump slam if he's both charged up and enraged (don't quote me on that)

The Apex Zinogre ultimate is wrong. His ultimate is actually the move in which he spins around into the air with his tail, then charges up in midair to come down with a devastation electrified claw stomp. It’s the attack that does the most damage out of his moveset.

One thing I will add to Diablos: if you plan on blocking it, be ready to turn around. It's not just 1 attack, it's a multi hit move that will catch you from behind (which doesn't make any sense imo) if you just block the way he comes from with each hit doing the same high damage. Honestly it's better to either sonic bomb him before he does this, or just get out of its way.

There's something special about Valstrax's "Around the World" ultimate attack. I've noticed that if Valstrax navigates to another area and something like a Big Monster is there, Valstrax immediately initiates the ultimate attack upon arriving in that area as a result, and if you happen to be with said Big Monster as well, you'll get the "Ambush" notification as well.

I've always loved how people seem to give these attacks names, usually from calling them out to each other to ensure everyone steers clear or readies a counterattack to whatever's coming. I feel like you got a few monsters supers wrong. Chameleos has the poison drop then poison beam reminiscent of old gen, apex arzuros has a triple swipe then combos into 2 ground break upper cuts, and apex Zinogre does a quick charge with lightning attacks surrounding him before unleashing a tail swipe wave leap and thunder smash TWICE

I would say that apex zinoger super is his true wombo combo the one where he creates explosive lightning under you and does Backflips with explosive lightning lines and a few waves.sadly this ataxk is rare because spark puppy needs to be fully charged for a long time

i believe chameleos has 2 supers the poison cloud shot not as much of a super but the invisibility into the poison artillery spew around him into a double toxic breath attack is an augment to the super i always knew in the older games where hed go crazy with his poison mist breath. Apex Rathian's super is the attack where it does a spin against you and then flies back a bit to then fly towards you for a brutal flail attack. the double tail flip shooting out a spike and then a backflip after is nice but the huge flail-like destruction the flying tail spin attack has can be very hurtful especially in the older games. apex Zinogre has a proper zoom out attack being the super where he does the charge to attack everyone with targetted thunderbug strikes followed by two of the double combo he can pull off against one single person. its fun to backstep this entirely with evade extender gunlance

actual I'm pretty sure the game categorizes so monster attacks as "super attacks" If you have hunter voices on your hunter will go "WATCH OOUUUT" or something along those lines when the monster does something; every monster has a specific attack that triggers said voice line, even the low tier monsters. (for example, great izuchi's triple spin, arzuros' shoulder bash, volvidons fart, rathians tail flip, baggi's sleep attack, sommna's AOE sleep attack, narga's tail slam and so on for every monster.) while some of these attacks definitely shouldn't count as "super" (like how great wroggi's is just a spit followed by a shoulder bash.) but still think this was worth mentioning. although most of the attacks featured here would have triggered the voice line so props on that front.

Well gonna give you all a tip that i've never seen being spoken yet but for Rakna using gunlance you can actually be like well guess i'm using wyvern fire goes for big numbers and a knockdown (i say it for gunlance but would certainly for attacks that can reach it just feel so great doing it with gunlance) Also just thought that kushala move really is like Amatsu magatsushi big move too just tornadoes in bonus honestly if amatsu isn't in the final product it would be Criminal

I normal hunted apex diablos and near its death did it did something i actualy didnt expect It went full bloodbath mode With its spin in the ground and jump like a rocket steam explosion,its multi tail and head spin,its Triple charge attack and never exhausted hyper speed That was the moment where i noticed it The True King of Deviants Returned I cant call it apex anymore,it is BLOODBATH DIABLOS

Allmother Narwa has the most beautiful, and difficult to avoid ultimate in the game thus far. It's like a combination of Sapphire of the emperor with Ahtal ka's dragonator spin on steroids. It can also be hard to get to the center because if you don't watch the dragonators, you will just constantly bounce back until you faint.

In MHGU Dreadqueen Rathian had a tail swipe, that was literally like a homing missile. She teleported tou you, no matter how far you've ran away. I'm happy this attack is not in Rise

I really don’t get as to why you limited this list to just 7 star threat level and above, other than time, I guess? One could make the argument that every monster has some form of “super move”. I mean, the game literally has the hunters call out when the monster’s strongest attack will happen, like Izuchi’s triple tail spin, Bishaten’s whirlwind charge, Somnacanth’s sleep ring, and Anjanath’s flamethrower. Hell, I’m fairly certain that Volvidon’s super is his strench cloud. If you just turn voices on for the hunters, then pay attention to when the hunter talks, it should be fairly obvious. As for the supers listed here, some of them aren’t even right. Chamleos’s super is still the poison cloud circle, but the movement of the wind is based off of Chameleos’ position, not yours. You can see him either move into or behind the circle, which shows whether the attack will move outwards or inwards. Apex Arzuros’s is the double uppercut, which he can combo out of his claw swipes. And the attack pointed out for Apex Zinogre is normal Zinogre’s super, not the Apex’s. The Apex’s super has it charge up, do a flip & slam combo that send lightning everywhere near it, then do ANOTHER flip & slam combo that sends out even more lightning. This is a really long way of saying that this video could use a redo with ALL of the monsters in it. Not that hard when the hunters constantly tell you which attacks are the strongest if you have voices on. I apologize if this mini rant comes off as rude, as that happens to be the way I talk/write, but I don’t intend to be hateful. I quite enjoy the content on this channel, and say this in hopes that the facts are right in future videos, as RGV tends to make really helpful content. And feel free to correct ME if I’m wrong about something.

The difference is some monsters have special strong moves while others have actual super moves which are also called nova's. The great izuchi may have a strong move but it's not considered a super attack by the monster hunter community.I can see your confusion though because he added moves from diablos and tigrex that were never considered as super or nova, just strong. And your right he does need to redo this. There are multiple errors as you mentioned. Though one correction; chameleos super is a powerful spray of poison that he shoots towards the ground. The cloud is a regular move.
