People still underestimate H series. IMO Hs are right along side Ks. Difference is Ks have more aftermarket support and development.

Interesting. I just picked up a 93 lude, with an h22, with 214k miles on it. I want to rebuild the motor but everyone tells me it's not worth it on the series. I think it would be especially because of those sweet high rpms!

@@kenfrazee2779 i gave up powersteering many years ago when I swapped my h22 swapped my EJ1. Its actually an upgrade for a higher hp/torque front wheel drive car, because you get a ton more feedback and "road feel". I havent had AC all this time either. But Im looking to put it back in. Both PS and AC are possible in H swap EGs. As well as K swap anything. As far as J, im not sure how you would do it because of a lack of aftermarket support but im sure its possible, you might need to cut and trim to fit the pump or custom lines. I actually trimmed my core support to fit powersteering on my H a few months after the swap but by then I was used to the no P/S feel and didn't like the numb feel of P/S so I took it back out. Hope this was helpful.

@@toki89666 I was just being a smartass haha. When I bigblock my eg coupe the ac is going in the trash, as well as any other nonessential weight. Am wondering how light an eg coupe can get. Already replaced one of the windows w plexi. The H is like 150lbs heavier, right? I think weight reduction off the ass end would be especially beneficial to a fwd chassis, what's that hollowed out gutted no-bumper thing the drag guys do? Gotta' be some weight there.

nice! all motor=real engine. I just cant stand turbo, or nitrous oxide cars. nitrous used to be considered cheating. the only ppl that used it were guys that couldn't build an engine. or the occasional guy who was hustling people claiming to be all motor. neither got any respect. I'd rather watch all motor racing than the others. whether it's a 4 banger, or v8s. that's one of the reasons I don't like street outlaws. they use giant funny car slicks, and enough nitrous to choke a whale
