I'm so happy I found your book channel through your homeschooling channel! I just love how you talk about books and your individual experience with each one. I love The Blue Castle! If you would be interested in another "bloom where you're planted" type book I recommend Emily of Deep Valley by Maud Hart Lovelace. She also wrote the Betsy-Tacy series. Emily is set I'm that world but is a standalone novel. I can't help but recommend Jaime Jo Wright. She is a Christian thriller author and I have been so impressed by the quality of her writing. Can't wait to see what books you have picked for fall! It's my favorite season to be a reader. I am a cohost of a Victorian Literature event that runs in October called Victober and I love all the atmosphere that they have for that time of year. Done with my novel length comment 🤣
