I really wish they hadn't made Roscoe Born's character so sleazy. As an avid Edmund/Brooke fan, I saw real chemistry with Roscoe and Julia Barr. I was very saddened when his character was replaced with another actor and the character trashed.

From what I've read, the storyline really made him uncomfortable, and that's saying something as he was known for playing villains. He was already uneasy about Jim's creepy backstory with Laura, but after the change in headwriters and the "new direction" for Jim as a character, he left the show. There are multiple accounts, some of which day that he was fired after a dispute with Megan McTavish over the storyline, while others say he actually stopped showing up, and they had to rush to find a recast. The new guy definitely was not as enjoyable.

Edmund thanks Dimitri and yet pulverizes Brooke, blaming her, though she saved his daughter's life. I hated this storyline so much.
