Agnes Nixon is the woman who created All My Children, so technically, all the characters are kinda like her children lol

I laugh when Agnes reads the poem and they show some rich characters and when talking about the poor they show the Martins. A doctor and nurse. Hardly poor. They should bring it back for a two week special. One week reviewing the whole series and one to tie it all up. Better yet reboot it

One mention of Phoebe's family in the beginning.....but she died and they didn't even mention it....yet Dixie and Stuart were HELLO THEY CAME BACK Clearly Leo and Phoebe could have filled those two spots. sad really sad :(

Question on the Bianca front, was she still with Reese at this time? Question on the Riegel front, was this after she left for good?

Bianca and Reese divorced. Eden was replaced in the final year by Christa Lind Bennett. Eden had gone on to Y&R. However, Eden came back in the 2013 online revival

These scenes seems to blur the distinction between actor and their role... I thought that was Eva La Rue *herself* losing control and saying 'can you stop the tape'. (Maybe it would seem different if I'd watched parts 1-3 first...) As others have commented seems anymore soap Anniversary shows focus on current characters too much. Seems producers see them as a chance to mostly promote the *current* show, past history gets short shrift.

Kinda boring. I was hoping for scenes with Brooke & Erica or Mateo & Maria or heck any couple. We saw Haley hug Adam, and touch Jr's hand. Yeah love love the show. I met many of the stars over the years. I was just a little disappointed. Looking forward to the 50th!

I forgot that I wrote this comment 3 years ago! 2020 has come and gone and no such luck. But with the pandemic and people forced to stay home there was a lot of nostalgia for the old soaps going around. There are now talks of a primetime reboot but it sounds like it will be very different from what we've seen in the past.

@@thirdintegra Looks like the prime time reboot produced by Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos' production company has stalled. When asked recently, they said it was on the backburner. There was a special that aired in 2021 called "Reunion Road Trip" in which several castmembers reunited to discuss the show

Did they really kill off Stuart?!! Haven't watched regularly for a decade or more but... they should have kept him, if just to have him appear occasionally. (He's such a good/interesting counterbalance to Adam). Maybe David Canary wanted a lighter work load? Guess the art at 0:56 was meant to be Stuart's, he & Adam as kids back in Pigeon Hollow WV. - Adam & Palmer, titans of industry, both from hicktown WV! (Being from nearby VA highlands myself I always remembered that.)

They did kill him off but in the final ABC episodes in 2011, they revealed he was alive thanks to David Hayward
