I would too... but I wish they would start in 1980.. I would watch the entire decade of the 80s...From what I understand, they started saving them in the late 70s... and it's totally doable...when you think of the massive libraries of streaming onilne currently... this would just be a drop in the bucket... I wish they would do them with all of the soaps in the 80s... can you freaking imagine??? We'd never leave the house

Gosh. This was the AMC era that we watched in Italy from 1985 to 1991. The golden age of the soap. No wonder it was on top of ratings in the U.S.A.

There's no way it would ever be like it was here. This was nearly 40 years ago. Susan Lucci is at least 74 years old. James Mitchell is dead. Debbie Morgan is in her 60s. Candace Early is dead. Ruth Warrick is dead. Peter Bergman is having a marvelous career on Young and Restless. And perhaps the worse news of all is that Agnes Nixon is dead. That's the main reason this show fell completely a part and was so terrible before it left the air. These days are gone for good.

I always remember being amazed that a prime time television star (Carol Burnett) went on about All My Children (and ABC SOAP) on her prime time CBS show. I thought that was so cool honestly that the network had no problem with her doing that.
