Myrtle was such a wonderful lady. She's had more "memorable" folks at her Boarding House than The Reardons on Guiding Light, Boyd, Jesse, Tad, Bianca, Langley. She accepted people for who they were not what they had and she was no fool. To go from being a Fortune Teller at A Carnival to Ellen Shephard Dalton Chandler's Assistant at The Store to "Owning" it she showed it's not where you come from, it's where you end up.

Jill Larson seemed like she was trying to hard to fill Dorothy Lyman’s shoes as Opal. She was great but I’m glad she made the part her own.

dorthy lyman was the one and only opal. She should have come back after Mamas Family was over. Jill Larson sucks never got use to her.
