Because seeing Jenny would do the opposite. He’d want to stay with her. Jenny really didn’t even want to be seen here. This is why Grandma Kate wasn’t seen . Had Tad seen her, he would never have left to go back to earth (granted, the actress is deceased in real-life, but CGI, etc., could have been used).
