I don't think they thought about bringing Jesse back until recently, so they didn't think it was necessary to clarify just why he was up in Heaven at this point. And if you think about it, he wasn't up there the second time Tad made the trip, so in that way it DOES make sense.

Were Tad and Jesse that close back in the day? I seem to remember that it was more Jesse and Tad's sister Jenny and Greg who were friends. I don't really remember Jesse and Tad like that. I can't seem to even find a scene of them from back then.

weirdalfan1980 yep. And the fact that he died on screen at the hospital in Angie arms makes it all more ridiculous. I will never believe the Jesse i knew would leave his son without a father for 20 years for whatever reason.
