They all look beautiful, but all of your creations are breathtaking in my opinion. I will definitely follow one of your color alongs to make my first coloring in my Eriy books, I have got part 1, 2 and 3, I love them and have got them for a few years now but I wanted to be more confident before I started in this book, because I love them so much and don't want to spoil them. I have heard that Black Widow pencils work very good in the Eriy books, I don't have prismacolor yet, so I will give my Black Widows a try. Have a really nice weekend dear Alena 🥰💜

Definitely you are the one and only Coloring Queen!!! Your artworks are amazing and I really enjoy watching your videos. I agree with you about the strange quality paper of Eriy’s books but recently I used Cretacolor Megacolor colored pencils and I solved the problem that Prismacolors or even Luminances couldn’t solve well.

Hi, Alena….I really like all of Eriy coloring books, especially the Romantic Country books. I love how you colored all these pages and often watch your coloring videos several times each so I can learn how to combine colors. I wish you gave lessons because I would love to be your student! Thank you for this video and all of your beautiful pictures!

Romantic country was also the first coloring book outside of bible journals that was bought for me and i agree it is a struggle. I was told that Faber Castel Classics (red children version) work well so i will try them out soon.....someone in your comments said Cretacolor Megacolor work nicely and since i just got the Cretacolor for my birthday, i will try them soon too.

Such beautiful works. I'm glad you found a pencil brand that likes the paper. Coloursoft pencils don't layer very well on the best of papers so I'm not surprised you struggled with them here. I can only get about 3, possibly 4 light layers out of them, which is a shame because some of the colours are really lovely.

Thank you for showing us your finished (and some unfinished) pages in Romantic Country 1&2. The series remains to be my absolute favourite colouring books--I was lucky enough to get all 3 before the 3rd became an out-of-print. I agree the paper is a bit too smooth for most pencils, so these days I mostly use watercolor pencils in them.

I do love your style!!! Seems very “old fashioned” in color and texture!!! And that is very appealing to me. Have you tried Derwent Inktense pencils yet? They do work nicely in Eiry books, as long as there is not to much water added. I try to keep my water brushes on the dryer side to not buckle the paper, which I do agree with you is an odd texture! Love Eiry tho!!!

здравствуйте. очень понравилось качество бумаги в этой раскраске. подскажите , пожалуйста, в каикх еще раскрасках похожее качество?

На самом деле бумага в этих книгах среднего качества, под нее нелегко подобрать карандаши. Лучше результаты дают Призмаколор, но только с блендером, а другие бренды, даже Полихромосы, не очень хорошо ложатся и смешиваются. Водные материалы, и акварель, и мелки, впитываются слишком быстро и цвет дают жухлый. Так что если выбирать книги по качеству бумаги, я бы посоветовала для карандашей японские книги менуэт и Рапсодию Каноко Егузы, все голландские издания Ханны Карлсон, все книги издательства Blue Angel Publishing. Бумага, идеально подходящая и для многи карандашных марок, и для акварели - в книгах Клары Марковой, во всех раскрасках, изданных польским decomade.
