I love all of your pages, they always come out beautiful. I will get spots on my lulu mayo books when I use watercolor pencils or watercolor, I guess something to do with the paper type. How are you preventing that?

I stephanie !!! Thanks so much ! Ill tell you i dont use regular watercolors , i use opaque watercolors that are more like a gouache , the prima watercolor confections , and ive never had any problem, i also try not to use a lot of water. But maybe the US paper is better than the Uk paper version of her books. Another great medium to use on her books is water-based markers, acrylic markers and Prismacolor pencils work great on her paper.

Wonderful pages! You used crayola super tips quite often. When I use them they look streaky. But your pages almost look like a sort of patterned background. Would love to hear any tips.

Hi Coleen !! I was just telling a viewer that asked me the same thing about the metallic markers from the dollar tree, and my answer is the same for the supertips , the answer is my pages are actually very streaky !!! But its less noticeable i guess on video and plus with all the other media it looks decent ! I also use pencil on top of my supertips for shading and contrast so that also helps to mask some of the streakiness but ya mine are just as streaky i promise !!

Hi dear !! They are called Prima watercolor confections , they have lots of different sets with different palettes, i recommend the tropicals, the macaroon colors, the vintage pastels, and the basics, but i also love the greens set i think that one is called terrain ! Its hard to pick, lol !! If you cant find it with that name let me know ill look for the link and paste it in the video description box

I've heard others say the paper quality in the books isn't the best. What did you base the page with in order to prevent any bleed thru?

Hi Valerie !! Yes i was always confused and suprised when i would hear that , i feel the opposite ! I think the paper is great ! So i didnt base anything, maybe the US versions are different paper than other versions, i dont know.

Hi Maia, I bought all the colors of the Dollar Tree metallic markers I could at our very small store. I tried to do a background using one of the colors, it came out very streaky and looked absolutely horrid! Would you, if you could, demonstrate how you use these markers, so it doesn't look like a 2 year old scribbled all over the background? Thank you! 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Sure ! But mine are streaky too if you look close ! Its just that in the videos it doesnt look that bad but ya i have lots of streakiness too ! But yes i can defiantely show how i use them in a coloring update video !! Do you watch those ? Thats when i answer a lot of viewer questions
