Really struggling at getting my thumb to time with the song, any advice?

Hey Jimo, best advice is just to go super super slow, like embarrassingly slow haha, until it is perfect. you can switch the youtube video player speed to 50% or even 25%. also once the higher notes come in, the bass note is not being struck on every beat like in the beginning, so that might be something to pay attention to as well, it sometimes alternates with the higher notes
