Announcements were boring since they don't mean anything to just about any of us. The play starts at 7:02.

@@bessieschaedel3890 Don't know if you're still looking for an answer, but I'm studying this play now and the newspaper itself is just a plot device to characterise Joe and Jim for us by talking about the weather. When Joe says it's going to rain, Jim says, "Paper says so?" to which Joe replies, "Yeah," and Jim says that means it can't rain; it's a joke about the unreliability of weather forecasts and characterises Jim for us as quick-witted and funny. Later, when Frank enters the scene, Joe expresses that he has no idea why a man would want old dictionaries which characterises him for us as being unwordly with a narrow worldview as he doesn't even consider that someone could want old dictionaries for intellectual pursuits and immediately jumps to making money - he is a businessman, after all - after Frank points out he could be a book collector.

I searched everywhere else, but this particular version had the best group of actors, that it's so good and remarkable compared to the rest. GOOD freakin' job y'all!

An overrated play by an overrated playwright. The reworked 1948 film is better, but the intrinsic clumsiness and bad faith of the original cannot be overcome by any mere cosmetic improvements or cinematic sleight of hand. In this production, the direction fails to deal with the constrictions of the set in which the actors wind up buzzing and banging around like flies caught in a bottle.

@@sudarshandas4270 Adam is right; this is krap. I always find it chuckle-worthy that when somebody dares to dissent, an absurd comparison is made. "You don't like what Hitler did? Okay, YOU invade Poland, see how far you'll get."
