This was one of my Mom’s favorite songs. She died a little over three months ago and my dad just reminded me of it today. What a gift. The wounds this world left on her soul have all been healed. And this wound she left in my heart will be healed someday. All my sorrow and grief will be replaced with the light of Jesus face.

Physical death, when the body ceases to support physical life, is the best point in time for the Believer in Christ, who has trusted in Him for their personal salvation from eternal judgement. This is apart from and preceded by the the point in time of being born again, the life of God is born again in the heart of the believer and the spirit becomes alive to God. Death is the transition to the eternal from the temporal. They are ushered permanently and eternally into the presence of the God of the Universe who created all we know. This is the truth and eternal hope rooted in the words of Christ who was risen from the dead on the third day and has absolute power over the grave!

The correct words of the first line is supposed to be, "when I go". That is important because we don't die. We do not enter into death. Jn 5:24 " Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

Brother, a year ago( uTube time), U posted 'we dont die'(,& IF the Rapture happens, we ARE swept up in the air, when Jesus collects us, not dying)..Jesus died( as a man)& we owe Him 1 death in return...'sleep' is used in some verses( synonym for death? as:" i put my Dog to sleep '? How can you "pass from death to life" without entering death? Do you expect to ever be resurrected from the living? Was Jesus mistaken when he said "Lazarus is dead" (John 11:14)? We are in the comforts in spirit. Our souls will rise from the grave to meet Christ and we will receive a new body at that time. I think it says we sleep in Christ. Those without salvation will sleep but time will not be as it is kinda like when we sleep. The one's who sleep and their spirit is in the presence or awareness we don't understand exactly how it works but that's probably the best I've understood it without accidentally saying something out of the context. You can find the scriptures that talk about it.
