I was orphaned at the age of 6 years old, I am an Inuvialuit on the coasts of the Arctic Ocean. Grew up with alot of anger because of the way I was treated as a young boy. In short, everything happens for a reason, did not know until I accepted Jesus into my heart at age 35. Did not know HE was there for me ALL the time, watching and keeping me in the palm of HIS hand. Read his word and prayed alot for a few years, then I backslide but yet HE still loves me, this I know with all my heart. In 1997 I reached up to God and He immediately removed the daily desire/need/addiction to drink. Today (as of this year) I work at my church, of which part is as Asst. Program Director for a lunch outreach program. My parents prayers were answered in 1997. Our God is RESTORING the years the locusts stole. Miracles DO still happen today. Keep sharing your story. My testimony.. This 2021 was very tough but my Lord brought me out of every situation so beautifully.... I suffered from severe stomach issues for 2 months and my God delivered and set me free.. After a month I had nervous issues and could not stand or walk and my compassionate God healed me.... I also had allergies, infection in my mouth.. I was completely healed and set free... All praise to God... LOVE U JESUS... By his stripes and wounds I am completely healed...

I was born with a toxic in my lungs, I grew up with extreme eczema, I recently got diagnosed with something that could have not let me have children, got bullied at school for the eczema for almost my whole elementary, middle, and part of high school and I went missing for 5 months from my home and my family and I'm just now getting out of depression and insecurity but at the end he raised me up. Desperately needing this in 2020. I just lost one of my five year old dancers. (I'm a dance teacher, and I absolutely love each and every one of my students.) June 17th, one of my dancers, with the biggest heart and the cutest little face, passed away. As a teacher, I didn't expect something like this to hurt so bad. I only saw her once a week for forty-five minutes, but I don't think I've ever hurt this bad in my life. Every time I think of her walking through those pearly gates alone, every time I think of her in Jesus's arms, or dancing for God, it stings, and it aches, and it crushes me. I went to her viewing the other day and hugged her mother. She told me her daughter really loved me, and really looked up to me. Christine, my mother went and left this Earth when I was 15, and every time something important happened in my life I would grieve, because she wasn't here to share with. Upon giving my life to Jesus, I started reading the Bible. When I read that God was everywhere, I realized that He was with me, as well as with my mom. The Bible clearly says that we're not to talk to the dead, so I started telling Jesus what I normally would have said to my mother, and asked the Lord to give her the message. One day I wondered if I was doing the right thing, and whether or not the Lord was actually passing my messages on to my mother. The Lord showed me beyond a shadow of a doubt that He was. So there's no distance in the spirit. You can still talk to Jesus, and He will pass the message on.

I was 11yrs & I accidentally drank about 1/2 a glass of parrafin oil & I was afraid to tell anyone & I almost died & one of the best hospital couldn't handle my case & the situations were bad coz all my intestines were leaking & the suggestion was to do surgery & put me on artificial one's but coming from a God fearing family prayers changed everything &I b was miraculously healed & till to date ave never experienced any complications that happened about 31yrs ago & now I'm a bishop . This is my personal testimony. I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself. Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine ‘cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer. One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!! IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!” After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been in my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was on a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life. My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this. I fell in love with this song and this version when I heard it over the radio and bought the album. Since then I've listened multiple artists, and this is still my favorite version. You can find it youtube with just the audio. I think it was great of Selah to allow a ministry to use their song and pictures to raise funds for hospitals in Africa. We all know what the song is about. They were just trying to help. I'm amazed that they are criticized for donating to help fundraising.
