DJ's last hurrah. This always warms my heart when I see it because he was such a class act throughout his career, he deserved a final sendoff like this.

Man do I miss the gen 4/5 superspeedway engine sounds, they sounded you were watching open wheel racing

I was always amazed at how Riggs’ barrel roll happened after sliding on the roof, you’d normally see that on the grass but as soon as it tumbled it really went

It's very rare to see 2 flips happen in one race, being Michael Waltrip and Scott Riggs.

@@OfficialKiwiFrankencop 09 Fall as well. Newman cuz of the dreaded wing, and Mark Martin rolled over during the GWC. Mark might've won his elusive title had he not been in that wreck.

I remember that race. I watched the whole race a long time ago, and I saw all of the crashes, including both of those 2 flips that Michael Waltrip and Scott Riggs took, but Scott's flip is hard than Michael had, but thankfully, both of them survived all the way. Kyle Petty never gave up after that hard crash he had at the backstretch on the last lap of the race, even though he lost the right rear tire on his car, but he still drove it to the checkered flag all the way before the safety workers got to him at the end.

A lot more wreck filled compared to the Aaron's 499 that year in 2005.
