Ah, I miss the 4th of July Daytona 500 races. Nothing like racing at Daytona again during America’s Birthday Weekend. I’d do anything to have that back. I remember watching this race like it was yesterday!

NASCAR really screwed themselves by putting a stupid road course for the Independence Day weekend. Nothing more boring to watch than a road course, if you ask me.

The 4th of July race was special every year, I don’t mind that they changed it. Rod America isn’t the best road course but it’s solid

And I agree, while the 2013-2018 Gen 6 plate package was solid, the 2019-2021 package (with aero ducts and wickerbill) is undefeated in my opinion. That aero package is the best one NASCAR has ever produced in its entire history, I know that’s saying a lot but I will die on that hill. I can’t tell you how entranced I was watching those Daytona and Talladega races every time, such unbelievable and breathtaking racing. Drivers thought it was too much but oh my god was it insane.

Man, I've been binging the hell out of your videos today lol. Thanks for this upload though, I took a break from watching races for a couple years and decided to watch it again in 2011. Very glad I did, because 2011 was one of my favorite NASCAR seasons.

The two car tandems really suck back in 2011 and the Xfinity cars in 2012. It would have been better but never made a difference.
