2011 was such a good season of racing I miss tandem drafting at superspeedways and plenty of passing at road courses and short tracks without aero being a huge issue thank god for the Xfinity series

Daytona becomes repaved, two car tandems at superspeedways really sucked which some drivers hated, Trevor Bayne becomes the youngest driver to win the Daytona 500 driving the Legendary Wood Brothers #21 Ford, Jimmie Johnson .vs Kevin Harvick at Fontana in a west coast showdown, Furniture Row Racing of Colorado won its first ever race at Darlington, tensions between Kyle Busch and other teams reaches the breaking point, Kentucky Speedway debuts on the Cup schedule, Pocono Raceway built new safety walls after the Elliott Sadler crash, backstretch grass removed due to the splitter ricocheting off curbs, and Chevrolet was celebrating its 100th Anniversary with Clint Bowyer winning for the Anniversary moment at Talladega.
