There's an additional story once you get to the NBA if you get drafted 1 & 2 with Cobb. For me Cobb went 1 and I went 2 and there was an additional storyline with more cutscenes battling for the starting spot etc. (Next gen dunno if this story is on X1/Ps4 version)

@@lordironhidex There is a rivalry storyline in the NBA with cutscenes. I think you have to be drafted 1 and 2 and be on the same team. I never had seen it before until I was drafted #2 behind him and we were on the same team. This opened up a storyline where we battle for the starting spot. In my file I outperformed him and he got traded. (Next gen dunno if this story is on X1/Ps4 version)

They legit go to the trouble of making a story on how you join the NBA every year and then stop. All it's left is for you to endlessly play until you get bored. Like, what the fuck. Put some effort into the story. Have the character have meetings with the brands that want to sponsor him. Like, you literally have the main character have some girlfriend and they always end up breaking up...like, she doesn't need to be a secondary protagonist, just let her be there for the good times and support. Let the guy have a house and if you want to cash in even more money, let us buy stuff for the decor. Give me a fucking car. This was the last time I bought this game, complete crap every year unless you want to play with friends.

I actually just wanted to know my "real" draft position but instead I ended up scripted with my favourite team (but with Dame an CJ and me as a PG/SG it is just stupid). :I (Instead of giving an opportunity for the inpatient ones that just want to play in the park like you actually have in this game and another for me who wants something like a some kind of real "mycareer" experience got the same unlogic ending somehow. Thank you 2k. Please give some of us the option for an at least somewhat in the context of a video game realistic "MyCareer".

I know some people are annoyed by the cut scenes but I actually look forward to them even the corny ones. They should put more in like Shaq popping up at your house , maybe a street ball legend cut scene at the park surprising us with Skip to my Lou, Cadillac, white chocolate , Hot Sauce pick up game..... maybe a scene where it’s a dialogue with old players saying “Back in my day yah couldn’t beat us” Then you play a Park game with some of your favorite players in their prime... 🤷🏾‍♂️

Well, I know which game NOT to get and waste my $$. I'm all about mycareer, that's the only mode I pretty much play, but I'm getting tired 2-3 hours of cutscene pre NBA, and then flat throughout the season. What's the point, in that case I'll just watch on KZbin all pre NBA cutscene for 2k21, 22, 23 and so on and then play my 2k20 and pretend I have 2k21-whatever haha. They need to step it up and focus more on player friendship, maybe join forces in free agent more cutscene throughout the season. Keep us interested in playing mycareer game after game because of cutscene and so forth... STOP letting us pick where we end up, it's a draft! We'll decide where we go in free agency, and keep that interest not just some lame title screen. Okay I thinking that's enough, obviously you all know there's alot more.

It's so dumb. No matter what position you choose, Cobb is the same position. No matter what, you are always chosen by the same team as Cobb in the draft. What team has the first and second pick of the draft AND CHOOSES TWO OF THE SAME POSITION? You don't even talk to Cobb about it.
