@@SuperbikeUnlimited have you ever Wpc treated the gears?? Other than decreasing friction wpc treatment significantly hardens the surface of the metal and it should improve longevity of the gears.

We may not go into that in too much detail, because we have a very specific method. We don't do the 'beat the hell out of it right away', but we also don't go by OEM protocols.

My 1990 zx6 (zzr600) has an oil cooler like this but not my 2020 zx10r. Makes me wondered why they ditched that style and then decided to bring it back.

I love these builds, and can't wait to see how this one comes along! Given that you have thourough experience with most of the current superbikes, may I ask which one you would personally prefer as a track bike? Provided not a full blown superbike conversion, but rather slight upgrades like new shock, cartridges and full exhaust etc. Would appreciate your opinion :)

Well, one thing that really factors in is the cost of a proper ECU. Many of the current crop of sportbike cannot easily be flashed, so you may need to buy an ecu, harness, etc. It's hard to beat the YZF-R1 or BMW S1000RR in full superstock trim. The V4 R is a monster, but very expensive.

@@SuperbikeUnlimited Thank you for the reply. Looking to upgrade from previous generation S1000RR and I've been considering the R1. That crossplane engine has an appealing character compared to the more clinical BMW. Will be holding out until someone can crack the ECU though.

I thought the RR had manually adjustable suspension? I don't see wires for them to be electronically adjusted either.

It is manual - the only electronically-controlled component is the steering damper.

Not a fan of 21 zx10, the face look so weird, the engine just less sophisticated, the new dash looks so so, wonder why every one in US put so much love on this bike, maybe its cheap and spend less money for gain more power compare the others
